When I was drafted by the Texas Renegades 8th overall last week, I obviously knew there was a chance I would be a true rookie, and end up playing in the SHL this upcoming season. It is obviously tough for me, because I am incredibly close with everyone associated with the Firebirds franchise, but considering I will be spending my career with the Renegades, I owe it to GOAT SHL GM Deener and my new teammates to gladly abide by the plans they desire for me.

I have the opportunity to perhaps produce on the LAK line for the Renegades along both Vladimir Lidstrom and Asbjørn Alexandersen, and be a part of a franchise defining season for the team. It was very tough for me to affirm my farewells as a player to the aforementioned Firebirds, but obviously I will still be a highly active alumni and a constant pillar of support for the new members that join the team.

I simply want to publicly thank both Rublic, and Lunaro for helping build a great culture and team that I AM proud to be a part of.

I want to also publicly thank all my teammates, because without them my time would be a lot less enjoyable, and any success I have had would not be a reality. DJ the most under appreciated SMJHLer this season, Brumm the true leader in the clubhouse, Fleming my first captain and favorite Co-GM, Webb the experienced mentor, Prince the class clown, Cynthia the other possibly funnier class clown, MAS the goal scorer on roughly half of all my assists, Shae, Mario, and all the rest.

I also want to publicly thanks all the active alumni who made the locker room an enjoyable place to be and always being there if one of us needed some advice. Mac, TNGO, PB, Dollar, and the occasional Nike, LV, and Elyk.

I am ALSO excited to be the first pure SHL rookie in quite some time, and I am ready to pour my heart and soul into the Renes! I know the season might end up being a difficult one, but I believe a good foundation has been placed for our squad, and expect nothing less but greatness from the team.

I just want to say thank you to Robb Wind. Had it not been for our conversation where you basically told me the Renegades aren't good enough for you and your aspirations, I would've made the mistake of trading up to draft you and missing out on two of the biggest beauties in the entire SHL, Allen and Kuddles.

Thank you again Wind, you da real MVP and I can't wait until our two superstars blow you out of the water :((

You are really going to make a big deal about the locker room ordeal, when you were one of the first people to assert how insignificant it was? Sounds logical to me.

Incorrect, I said that I had questions about Texas because of its prior history. Did I once say I would not sign with you guys?
