14. Buffalo Stampede - Nothing is flattering about the city of Buffalo, and looking up and down the current roster it looks about 50% inactive. While 50% may be considered pretty well in this league, the way the teams made up they have a lot of holes. I’m confident Brandon is going to put in the dedication, and time to make Buffalo a power house currently they aren’t all that attractive to me. That being said they should have no problem attracting top talent as we recruited a ton of “buffabros†in the S25 class. They have nowhere to go but up, which is true of any expansion team, but as for me they are at the bottom of my destination power rankings.
13. :admirals: Portland Admirals :admirals: - Neither of the expansion teams is currently attractive to me at this point in my career; maybe down the road that will be different. The coupling of a certain legal flower, and JP as the GM does make Portland a lot more appealing to me as a destination. This team does seem to have a few more actives than Buffalo, but most of them are probably on their way out to recreate. I would love to see both expansion teams have early success; it would show the league actually needed expansion.
12. Minnesota Chiefs - The second year in a row the Chief’s have gone all New York Yankees, and sold out to try to bring a cup home. Throwing money at a problem rarely works; as we saw the Minnesota Chiefs come up short in the Eastern Conference Finals. They added more guys that are on their way to retirement which doesn’t make the club anymore attractive currently. A few pluses they have is JT knows how to win you can see that by how decorated his side bar is; I believe he has the most cups (fact checkers fuck off! . The most attractive is the recent promotion to CO-GM of ArGar; say what you will he is one of the most active members of this community.
11. Seattle Riot - Seattle was one of my preferred destinations when I first joined the league, they have quickly fell into the slums of my rankings. They actually have a really good roster that should be solid for seasons to come, and be a contender in the west. That being said I have never really had any interaction with anyone other than Leonidas; this made the destination less desirable for me.
10. Manhattan Rage - This is one of the teams the fell drastically down my list; with the loss of Chuck Goody, and Prince going inactive this Eastern foe loses their bargaining chips with me. They have amazing forwards in guys like Merica, Creller, and Knight but their defense this season looks paper thin. The preseason lines have two guys accounting for 60% at the blue line, and two behind them being plugs. With three seasons before Stinson, or Razin hits regression I don’t see this place very high currently.
9. Winnipeg Jets - The Jets are the team to go to if you want to be the face of the Franchise, with impending stricter regression rules several Jet’s players could be headed to recreate. This team’s great tradition and large amount of active players have moved the Jet’s into the middle ground of my rankings. The two glaring negatives about Winnipeg are I hardly know any of the players outside of Damby, and Elyk. Secondly they have a wealth of young active defensemen so they wouldn’t have a place for me to fit in currently. I’m looking forward to seeing them make a strong cup push to reward some of their veterans who are out the door!
8. Calgary Dragons - Here is a team I don’t expect to ever play for, but they are on a serious upswing. When you have guys like Randleman, and McZ sitting in the juniors it’s a good problem to have. They have a wealth of active offense, and defensive players that have a ton of time until regression. Esa wasn’t very interested in me pre the SMJHL draft, or the SHL draft, but I do have a ton of friends playing in Calgary that I would like to succeed.
7. West Kendall Platoon This was one of the teams I was high on pre draft last year, I also think they are one of the teams that didn’t contact me. Bojo is a great member of this community as I have said on several occasions; he is involved with everything he possibly can be. Looking at the roster I think they are poised to turn things around in the near future they are solid across the board. If Bojo can manage to keep everything in WKP together they could be a serious contender in one or two season’s time. Bojo gets an extra special shout out for drafting two underrated defensive S24 beasts in Klaus Wagner, and Fife Gibbs.
6. Texas Renegades Texas finds themselves drop on my list only because I wised up. Deener has done great things since he has started his rehaul of the Renegades. Calling it a rehaul is kind of an over statement as he just trimmed the fat; they will still have a team that can contend in the West, but I think their depth will fall short late in the playoffs. Despite them falling considerably I would love to play in Texas, great logo, great GM, and some great players in kuddles, boon, goody just to name a few. A+ on the job Deener has done thus far.
5. Edmonton Blizzard I initially had the Blizzard ranked pretty low pre the SHL Draft. After spoking with Keenan, and Tez it changed my mentality completely. For a time leading up to the draft I actually thought I was going to end up in Edmonton with my buddy Theo Kane. Obviously I didn’t but that doesn’t change how I rank them as an organization, they have a solid but aging core that is hungry to win now. They are only a year removed from a Challenge Cup defeat at the hands of the Wolfpack, but with Keenan, and Tez at the reins look for them to get back their sooner than later. It will be interesting to see the growth of Adam Adobode will he become the star, he showed glimpses of in Kelowna or will he just fade off in the background.
4. Toronto Northstars - Back to Back bottom dwellers who have shot on to my radar. Pre-Draft I believe I had Toronto ranked as my 11th or 12th destination. Despite my low ranking JNH reached out to me, and in talking to him they truly shot up the rankings. Couple that with the fact they drafted one of my favorite teammates in Shea Robinson. One negative about Toronto is I don’t think I would see much playing time as they are in a rebuilding phase and have a log jam in several positions. They do have a few guys who have personality’s I’m not in love with but I feel like JNH runs a tight ship, and I know he wants to win Challenge Cups. The fact that he was the first person to PM me and congratulate on my Challenge Cup Victory I give him major props for that, and hope he gets a chance to hoist one, one day!
3. Los Angeles Panthers Another team I completely had written off for being from the wrong part of the state. It still stands true if they want to get any higher on this list they will need to relocate to San Jose. Speaking of getting high the Panthers locker room embraces self medication; this is where I truly see myself fitting in with this club. I’m pretty sure they are super stacked as well, so I could just sit on the bench and take the game in being stoned. See you guys in the Challenge Cup Finals!
2. New England Wolfpack The Wolfpack haven’t moved much on this list, I know a ton of people on the Wolfpack from the PGF LR. They are all good people eager to help you build your player, and succeed. They got fucked over after they won the cup in S23 but look for them to bounce back in S25 or S26. They had an absolutely massive S25 draft landing Flacko, Clayton, and Hoover all who could have been top 5 picks in my book.
1. Hamilton Steelhawks - Hamilton has everything I want from in this league currently. An activeish LR, strong cast of forwards, young up and coming defense, a chance to play a lot of minutes, and get my feet wet. Not to mention the banner at the top of the page!
Like the title says nothing personal I just need money, so if you need answers or feel snubbed reply below, and I'll explain my reasoning, or say "you right"

I'd bump up Buffalo by one, They're on the right track to success. I haven't payed much attention to Portland but it seems they're doing well also.

You know me but you're probably too drunk to remember. Should up Seattle a bit.
- GCool - 08-20-2015
Awesome! Good reasons for all 14 teams being where they are. Let's bump Portland up in S26 tho.

Short term memory loss! I was actually out of town for the S25 draft, and most of offseason. So yes I did forget you were on Sea.
