Kornheiser: Welcome to PTI, boys and girls! In today's episode, the world turns to a shitstorm, Cartier's return, and the arrival of NEW management. But we begin today with the story out of Seattle. Wilbon, the Riot were swept in the beginning of the playoffs, and weren't the only team to be put away in such a fashion. Does the fall of regular season Cup hopefuls make you wonder why we play the game?
Wilbon: No, Tony, ok? This makes me happy we play the game, the whole way through. I'll say it once and I'll say it a thousand times, the SHL playoffs are second to none, because not even the SBA's college affiliate tourney has the pure randomness and anything goes caliber play like the SHL. I like it, a lot, and ya boy Cam Urbowicz was on the losing end, Tony!
Kornheiser: You got me there, Urbowicz wasn't on the right side, but he proved something, I feel, with this team. They can still make the playoffs with a significantly older roster than others, Mike. And they lost to guys with more ancient AARP accounts than us! Mike, does Calgary beating Seattle like a rented mule signify the end for young starters like the Admirals?
Wilbon: Of course not, Tony! Man... you're just trying to get me riled up...
Kornheiser: You know it! The Ads, ya boys, were in diapers when Esa Anrikkanen and Co. made their first marks on the league. We need to see which diaper gets changed first: the toddler's or the grandfathers'.
Wilbon: You choose that way to end a segment? I know you're senile and all, but c'mon!
Kornheiser: You know what I always say, Mike, I depend on Depends
