It is not easy to trade away an active player and member of the team. Looking at our roster and the expectation of when certain players will be called up, I felt Montreal would benefit from a rebuilt core. <a href='index.php?showuser=2598' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Seth</a> and <a href='index.php?showuser=2588' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>good_dude_great_hands</a> were both awesome teammates in Montreal, and were great guys to have in the locker room. Seth was a free agent who chose to come to Montreal, and it was truly a blessing. Scotty was our pick in the S34 draft, and he has lived up to and exceeded his draft position. They will be missed, and I'd like to thank them for everything they did for the team.

stl gets jack hanson and scotty steele.. 2 maxed out players to move up 6 spots this year and 6 spots next? (and on the wrong end of a 1st/2nd switch in 37???)
