I think the problem isn't that they're being overlooked, but rather not being looked at.

When I joined the HoF voting late in the process, most of the votes were done so I based my choices on the people that were selected. But then people brought up some some valid points about some people who were left out, and I think that's just because nobody ever provided a case from neither inside our outside the committee.

I feel like getting some feedback before deciding things (A COMMON THEME I HAD WHILE I WAS SHL'S GLORIOUS LEADER) will always benefit in the long run.

2 - Re: feedback, seeing as I just implored people to discuss this with me directly in PMs, I agree? I just don't see how demanding more out of the GMs is the way to go with that, even if it would be just a five-minute task. Of course, I remember seeing some of the old SMJHL awards ballots when GMs voted on those and clearly wanted nothing to do with it, so I'm going to have negative vibes about any process like that.
