Kyle Ernst is a former SHL player that played a little over 3 seasons in the league first with the Manhatten Rage then the Toronto North Stars. He was considered a good 3rd line shutdown type of player that was loved by the fans and the city. Ernst has been GMing in the WHL recently and is considered a great candidate to get a Co-GM job in the NWJHL. So far he has been waiting for 2 years and still has to get one, Ernst will eventually get the call and he has stated......"Ill get my turn eventually, I know a few teams has been interested in my services and i know ill get hired in the NWJHL one day but i personally know im a veteran of this stuff and my services will be needed some day I know i should be ahead of a few GMs but its just the way things work around here im not complain cause i Know like i said ill be a GM in the NWJHL one day" Ernst is a great scout also he brought Sergey Kovalenko to this league and so far he has proven to be a number one winger in the SHL.
