Good evening SHL,

Due to a budget error in processing contract tier adjustments, it has been determined that the Baltimore Platoon have been been $1,000,000 over the cap this season following a trade.

Quote:Section II, Subsection C, Rule 6

If a team spends more than their Salary Cap allows, they will be issued a cap fine equal to twice the amount of the surplus towards the following season’s cap. If a team is found to be over the cap, they must immediately take action to get under the cap before the next sim.

This was discovered last night and Baltimore immediately took action as required by the rulebook to rectify the situation. The standard cap penalty of $2,000,000 (twice the cap overage) will be assessed to BAP for S83.]

As always, they (@hockeyfan) may appeal this decision and can send an appeal request to any head of the appeals committee, currently @DrunkenTeddy and @Leafs4ever. Any appeal should be filed within 48 hours of publication of this punishment.

On behalf of HO,
Isa
