Winnipeg Jets Career Stats S21-S31
#1

*If I could get more money than the word count for the time it took to put this together that'd be cool but if not that ok aswell Tongue*

I went back as far as the indexes would let me for Team Scoring Pages and that was S21. It was fairly interesting to see some names I've seen on the Jets scoring pages light it up back then in the early 20's who were nothing more than depth since I started playing in Season 28.

1st - Vidrik Onoprienko - <a href='index.php?showuser=75' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>JackCross</a>

Vidrik is without a doubt one of the greatest players to ever lace them up in the history of the SHL much less the Winnipeg Jets. He has played in 608 games scoring 209 goals and assisting on 314 goals for 523 points. He is the only player from Season 21 to Season 31 to hit 500 and 400 points however, after the start of this season, I think a few players would break the 400 point plateau. It will be a sad day in history when Vidrik decides to hang up his skates for the last time. He will be remembered and will be a first ballot Hall of Fame player.

2nd - Elyk - <a href='index.php?showuser=1273' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Elyk</a>

The man with 1 name has been with the franchise as long as Vidrik has playing his rookie season in Season 21. He has played in 608 games, scoring 179 goals and assisting on 219 goals for 398 points. He is the 2nd all time leading scorer with his 179 goals which is behind only Vidrik. He is also the 3rd all time assist leader for the Jets which adds up to him being 2nd all time, 2 points away 400 in his career. He has been one of the most under rated players in the SHL for a long time and hopefully soon he will get his recognition as a great player.

3rd - Rembrandt Q. Einstein - <a href='index.php?showuser=12' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-4'>Leafs4ever</a>

Rembrandt Q. Einstein started his playing career in Season 22 and has been playing strongly ever since. He has played in 556 games, scoring 60 goals and assisting on 336 goals for 396 points in his career. His 336 goals ranks 1st in franchise history I would have to assume but also 1st since S21. Much like Elyk, he probably has reached the 400 point plateau this season and will go down as the best defenseman in Jets history.

4th - Patrik Satan

Patrik Satan was a surprise to me coming in at 4th since S21 because in the last few seasons he has put up less than 20 points. That just proves how great he was since his Rookie season. He has played in 568 games, scoring 167 goals and assisting on 194 goals for 361 points. He is the 3rd all time leading scorer with 167 goals and is 6 assists away from 200 in his career. He has been great throughout his career and should be remembered as such.

5th - Big Manious - <a href='index.php?showuser=1478' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Bonk</a>

Big Manious is the youngest of the Top 5 playing his first season in S24 with the Jets. He has played in 452 games, scoring 87 goals and assisting on 181 goals for 268 points. He is 2nd in defenseman scoring behind Einstein and younger defenseman should look up to him because of his consistency he has displayed as a great compliment to the top defenseman. It would be interesting to see if he can break the 300 point plateau before he leaves Winnipeg or he retires. Anywho, he is one of the best defenseman to lace them up for Winnipeg.

6th - Taylor McDavid - @McJesus

Taylor McDavid is another player who in my earlier season who put up a decent amount of point but not as much for me to think that he has been on of the best to lace them up for Winnipeg. Taylor played in 302 games, scoring 86 goals and assisting on 147 goals for 233 points over 6 seasons he played for Winnipeg. That is a pretty nice points per game average.

7th - Jamers Both

Jamers Both was another player who I thought was just a inactive filler but in his earlier years he has shown a very nice scoring touch. He played in 558 games, scoring 113 goals and assisting on 109 goals for 222 points. He is one of 5 Jets to score over 100 goals and one of 11 to get over 100 assists. Overall, he is 1 of 9 Jets to break the 200 point plateau. Both played his last game in the SHL in Season 31 before retiring.

8th - Luke Fleming - <a href='index.php?showuser=1722' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Nereus</a>

Luke Fleming has so much potential to be one of the best Jets ever. He has played in 300 games, scoring 102 goals and assisting on 115 goals for 217 points. He has been the leading scorer for the past 3 season if I remember correctly and will continue to be the leading man for quite some time. Fleming has taken the manta of best forward on the Jets from Vidrik Onopreinko. He is just the 5th Jets to score over 100 goals in his career since S21.

9th - Bryce Collins

Coming in at 9th is Bryce Collins who played in 352 games, scoring 77 goals and assisting on 126 goals for 203 points. He is the 9th player since S21 to reach 200 points in his career. Doing so in his last season with the Jets in Season 30. Bryce was one of those players who I thought was inactive filler but I was wrong as he was a very capable scorer in his day.

10th - Niklas Wikstrom - <a href='index.php?showuser=1250' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Whikadoodle</a>

Rounding out the top 10 was a man who played in just 4 seasons with the Jets. In this short amount of time he compiled 200 games played, 89 goals and 94 assists for 183 points. He left as a free agent after Season 30 and it remains to be seen maybe if he stayed he would have climbed the chart more than he already did at the pace he did in just 4 seasons. Overall, still one of the best to wear a Jets uniform.

11th- Scott Robertson - <a href='index.php?showuser=1920' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Atlas</a>

Coming in just behind Wikstrom is Scott Robertson who himself has climbed up the chart in a short period of time since S27. Robertson has played in 300 games, scoring 60 goals and assisted on 117 goals for 177 points in his career. At the rate he scores points, he should reach 200 by the end of this current season. Robertson will go down as one of the best defenseman in Jets history, which says a lot considering the Jets are known for great defenseman.

12th - Drew Myers

Drew Myers retired a bit early for most of us here in Winnipeg. He played from S23-S28, playing in 304 games, scoring 30 goals and assisting on 133 goals for 163 points. He retired in the middle of his prime so he could have been a major help from S29 to now really as he would just be leaving his prime now. That just goes to prove how young he really was when he called it a career.

13th - Terry Bulis

The man from S21 to S24 played in 208 games and scored 54 goals while assisting on 89 goals for 143 points. He played before my time but it shows that he had a deft scoring touch throughout his 4 seasons as a Jet before he retired.

14th - Jed Hackert

Another defenseman to play for the Jets and put up some decent point totals. From S21 to S25 he patrolled the blueline, playing in 258 games, scoring 33 goals and assisting on 91 goals for 121 points.

15th - Travis Kudleychuk - @BeanSobie

Now here is a player who is making waves on the chart with just 3 seasons as a Jet he as played in 150 games, scored 46 goals and assisted on 66 goals for 112 points. He is the 15th player since Season 21 to reach 100 points so it goes to prove what kind of talent this player has. Before the end of this season it wouldn't be a stretch to think he could pass Terry Bulis and even challenge for Drew Myers spot on this list, he is that good.

21st - Connor O'Reilly - <a href='index.php?showuser=1507' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>TheNextGreatOne</a>

Here is a player who was traded by the Hamilton Steelhaws to Winnipeg in Season 30 and has been a very good defenseman in his time here. He has played in 112 games, scoring 9 goals and assisting on 68 goals for 77 points. At the rate he scores at he should reach 100 points by the end of this season.

30th - Andriss Bukks - @bukss_a

Another player acquired in Season 30, Bukks has brought a very good defensive presence to the team but has a decent scoring touch as well. In 112 games he has scored 2 goals and assisted on 30 goals for 32 points. He has plenty of time to improve that total while playing stellar defensive hockey as he just signed a contract extension. He should reach at least 14 points this year which would move him to 27th ahead of Kodiak Clark, Jason Smith and Mitchell D..

33rd - Don Pellegrino - <a href='index.php?showuser=97' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>jason97</a>

In just one season, Don has risen to 33rd in team scoring since Season 21 with a 15 goal and 16 assists season for 31 points. He is a great addition to a young team that was in need of a top 6 scoring winger and has been a fit playing with Luke Fleming or Travis Kudleychuk. If he puts up another 30 points this season he will rise to 25th in scoring passing Steve Linkos, Tanner Carter, Kodiak Clark, Jason Smith, Mitchell D., Andris Bukss and Ondrej Ratchivkov.

Rookie Trio of Corey Bearss, Zach Evans and Jason Vissor - <a href='index.php?showuser=2338' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>CBear</a> <a href='index.php?showuser=2327' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>ztevans</a> @TorDragon84

This trio of rookies has so much potential. They currently are 41st, 42nd and 44th in scoring since Season 21 but they have potential for so much more. They are young and very active meaning the should rise as much as 10 spots in this season alone to 30 points if they double their rookie totals. I am very excited to follow these three throughout the seasons.

1st - Lauris Prikulis - 169 Wins

Lauris Prikulis is tops since Season 21 with 169 wins over 7 seasons. He also has a very good 2.69 G.A.A with a 0.909 save percentage with 21 shutouts. He was a very great goalie during his career that began before S21 so this is just part of his career. Prik was just inducted to the Hall of Fame.

2nd - Lukas Berger - 92 Wins

Lukas Berger was the man who was selected to take over from Prik and has been so so since Season 28. He has a record of 92-93-36. His 36 OT losses are more than Prik's. He also has a 3.19 G.A.A and a 0.897 save percentage. He hasn't been great but as been boarder line good. Hopefully he can pick it up soon. His 12 assists though are tops in franchise history.

Nice article man. I believe the bojo machine goes pretty far back. But you would need to know what players to search for.

oh yea i always forget about the Bojo machine. but that would be pretty tedious if i would have to look at every player and see who played for who. was nice and simple to just go from team scoring page. but maybe i will look into the bojo machine

I totally agree. Pretty much only for the players that you know were lifers for the team.

actually just going through it right now isnt that bad. went through S3-4 but there is no s5. so i will have a updated list out soon enough from seasons S3-20 of whoever is listed on WPG from the Bojo machine of said seasons.

<a href='index.php?showuser=1157' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Bojo</a> why is there no Jets on Season 5 leader board

I just re-read the article again and I have a hard time believing that I'm second on the all time leading scorers list in Jets history considering they are an original team with such a rich history. It's truly an honour  Jets

Great article too with great research

Looking back there didn't seem to be many players who lasted 10+ seasons. So I'm not entirely surprised.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*
*All-Time Leader Among All Skaters
