Maxime had been to Edmonton many times before. He'd played there a lot in his junior career, in his senior career, and in his spare time coaching underprivileged city youth. Edmonton was world's behind Calgary in terms of first world development, and Maxime couldn't help but feel his heart pour out whenever he went there.
His favourite place to go was down near the Blizzard's arena,where a bunch of the local kids hung out. He would often bring them Dragons jerseys to keep warm, as they had been turned away from the big city team. Didn't want to tarnish their image is what he was told by the children.
