Dummy Players

You remind me of myself so much Wastlund its unreal  Trust me I'd like to try to be flexible but after the success we had last season, we decided to eliminate the problem that you're trying to solve with this by reducing the number of NWJHL teams to avoid having to use CPUs/dummies. With only 6 teams to fill we're going to have deeper teams with all NWJHLers, which will bring.a level of excitement and sense of team that has been lacking from the NWJHL for some time. Like I said if there's ever a problem with the recruitment drive we'll have to re-visit this but as of now we're much farther ahead of schedule than we've ever been (since for the first time we started the recruitment drive during the playoffs, which I actually think was one of your suggestions
![]() I agree that the dummies can help the league, but I'm looking at long-term help instead of a short term fix. The recruitment drives are stronger than they've been in some time and its getting done by committee, I respect your ideas and opinions and am very thankful for another member out there looking at so many different ways to improve the league, but if we don't need dummies (which in my opinion we don't right now), I'd like to avoid using them. Also about the risk of lengthening the off-season, we're on pace for the fastest off-season since I've been in the SHL so for now I'm not worried there. ![]() ![]() Registered S11 Challenge Cup Champion
Dummies should just replace CPU players, nothing more nothing less.
The comparison with the EEL players don´t work for me. If we won´t have any CPU players this season, that would be fine and nobody will ask about dummies. But when I calculated right, then has every team still some CPU. Why not change them with dummies? So as long as we have CPUs, we should implement dummies. |
