There have been many conflicting reports of the issues that are happening out in Anchorage, with the Anchorage Armada. There have been many reports that their General Manager, @Gwdjohnson has been verbally, physically, mentally, and emotionally abusing players, most notably Vladmir Petrov. The General Manager also has his Co General Manager, @spursfan33, on a tight rope, as if he were to come out publicly of anything, there would be major consequences. Well, I am, here to tell you now, as Vladmir Petrov’s Agent, that I can no longer let these horrible transgressions slide. There already has been some news that has leaked out, and there has been a hashtag trending lately. #FreeVladmir. I want you all to know, that this is a true issue and needs to continue to trend. @Gwdjohnson held Vladmir Petrov against his will to the Anchorage Armada and refused to trade him to be with some of his other brothers. Slava is the quietest one there, and there is nothing wrong with that, so Slava might not come out about the truth of the abuse that poor Vladmir has suffered. We have video proof, as well as picture proof, of the abuse that Vladmir has suffered day in and day out at the hands of @Gwdjohnson. There are belt lashings across his back and chest, as well as he had come out of the General Manager’s office multiple times with black eyes, when he entered with no such issues. This Tyranny, this dictatorship, this abuse of resources and abuse of power that is happening in Anchorage needs to be stopped. It all started because Vladmir asked about the history of Anchorage, and why people talked about a team called the Prince George Firebirds.
Vladmir was asked to interview for this story, and he refused, but he did give a quote. “I am only here to continue to do my job and continue to push forward with the Anchorage Armada. I have already heard and seen that my request for a trade has been denied, and that I will be held here for the rest of the season. I will have to make the most of it with my wonderful teammates and my wonderful coaches. I have no issues with any of those guys. The General Manager is something else entirely. I will not go into too much detail about it, but I went from being such a nice, well mannered person to being an agitator. Believe me, this was not how I was raised or how I used to play. This has been turned against me and since I can not get this aggression out in the locker room or anywhere else, I must take it out on the ice. Just know, that I fully trust in my teammates and my coaches to continue to do what they can, and to continue to document everything that has been happening. I must believe that everyone has my best interest at heart, and that sooner then later we will have something to come forward against such atrocities in the General Manager of the Anchorage Armada. Just know, that this treatment will not go quietly into the night. There will be payback.”
When questioned about what “Payback” there could be, Vladmir was silent for awhile and then started to speak in Russian. We were not able to interpret it, but we have a feeling there could be a hit out on the General Manager sometime soon. Not to incriminate Vladmir, as you know he could always run back to Russia, or just plausible deniability. Hopefully, we will be able to see some changes in the Front Office of the Anchorage Armada, for the simple fact of the matter, no hockey player ever deserves to be treated like this. I just want to hopefully believe that the league will come together and band together for #FreeVladmir as we continue to support Vladmir in the only ways we can at this point. There have also been rumors that there is a case that will be going to the court systems soon that will show just more of the true evil that @Gwdjohnson is.
Going into a less serious note at the moment, we can see through all the adversity that Vladmir has taken so far this year, he has put up quite a year on the ice. In 52 games so far this season, Vladmir has 16 Goals, 17 Assists and a +/- of 29. He has 12 Penalty Minutes to go along with it. Don’t forget that he has shown some great skills on the Power Play, having 2 goals and 2 assists on there. HE also has 115 shots on net, to the tune of 13.91 Shooting % against opposing goalies. Vladmir has not been in a fight, which is quite surprising, since he has been getting the short end of the stick, quite literally, from the General Manager. Throughout it all, Vladmir has not been able to focus on being the best Petrov, as he has had a lot of other issues going on in Anchorage this season. The changing of the guard really affected him and as you can see throughout this whole article, that poor Vladmir will continue to struggle under this new regime. Vladmir is a resilient man though, and will continue to push through these issues, and hopefully new changes can come soon.
Before you read anything else, I just want you to all know this. I whole heartedly believe that @Gwdjohnson will come in here and try to state that these are not true issues going on in Anchorage. I want you to all know, that these are 100% true and poor Vladmir has been even recorded crying himself to sleep at night. I cannot stress this enough; we need to start the trend of #FreeVladmir and we need to let the world know that we are behind him. Heh as had such a rough time going through this situation. We must stand together, not just as a league, but as a world, that the tyranny of @Gwdjohnson will not be appreciated. We must stick up for the little man and show these evil General Managers that they can not do whatever they please to their players with no repercussions. General Managers are people too, and they need to be held accountable about the evil travesties that they can bring to this league. I just want the world to know, and Vladmir to know, that I stand with him, and I will continue to fight for those who are less fortunate from now until the end of times. #FreeVladmir
