[2x Draft] RashfordU's Prospect Guide [Part 2]

and now on to our regular scheduled programming;

Spack Jarrow

Bio: [ R | #13 | No Nation ]
Posts at time of writing: 11
Key Skills: Well Rounded | Offensively Gifted
What the Scouts are saying: “There are quite a few all around future superstars in this draft, and Jarrow might be the next one up.  Gms would be wise to take a chance on the young, budding phenom.  Blessed with a game that suits all aspects in the SMJHL, Jarrow should be contributing in all key categories in no time.”

Finn McNast

Bio: [ R | #19 | United States ]
Posts at time of writing: 8
Key Skills: Positioning | Well Rounded
What the Scouts are saying: “You ever watch someone play and are surprised they are always in the right spot, well thats McNast.  Known for making timely plays and driving the play up the ice.  Not only does McNast have good vision, but a solid work ethic that has turned into a very well rounded physical game of speed and quickness.  Give McNast a season, they could be the steal of the draft if taken too late.”

Axecop Axecop

Bio: [ R | #16 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: All Around Two Way
What the Scouts are saying: “Not ever parent is bold, but Axecop clearly comes from a bold pedigree.  After spending their youth honing an all-around game in Canada, Axecop has developed into someone who has the foundation to be used at anytime in the game and for any situation.  Need a penalty killer? Axecop.  Shutdown line? Axecop.  Late goal? Axecop.  GMs, need to pick someone? Axecop”

Mikko Feller

Bio: [ L | #96 | Finland ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Getting Open | Hitting | Agility | Balance | Speed | Strength
What the Scouts are saying: “The third and final Finn of the draft, meet Feller.  The big bodied offensive threat.  Known for punishing defenders who dare slow them down, Feller will find ways to wear down the opposing team all night long.  Known to always be open, Feller should project out to a top line winger if the right training is put in.”

Gordie Goodenough

Bio: [ R | #11 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 7
Key Skills: Offensive Read | Positioning | Defensive Read
What the Scouts are saying: “If your team is short on hockey IQ, look no further.  Arguably the biggest brain in the draft, Goodenough should get your team thinking the right way and helping out right away.  No slouch on the defensive end either, Goodenough is more than their namesake.  Expect Double G to have an impact in this league for years to come.”

Shoyo Hinata

Bio: [ R | #12 | Japan ]
Posts at time of writing: 7
Key Skills: Offensive + Physically Gifted
What the Scouts are saying: “Japan has some clear talent coming up through the pipeline, and Hinata projects to be a key kog in the international teams future.  Blessed with some serious offensive talent, and great speed, Hinata will be a goal scoring machine long into the future.  Expect Hinata to focus on either being a sniper or playmaker in the future, but for now, they will not disappoint you with either.”

Wayne Glensky

Bio: [ L | #21 | Switzerland ]
Posts at time of writing: 8
Key Skills: Stamina | Well Rounded
What the Scouts are saying: “The next in a long line of historic Glensky’s, Wayne brings together a keen eye for passing and a solid defensive game.  Glensky pairs this with exceptional skating ability.  Some scouts have knocked the undersized Swiss for not packing to grit to make it at the next level, but each and every time they’ve said that, Glensky has responded with performance after performance.  Whichever GM takes the bait, should be rewarded over the longterm.”

Mark Ruggere

Bio: [ R | #28 | United States ]
Posts at time of writing: 6
Key Skills: Balance | Speed | Mental Toughness
What the Scouts are saying: “In todays SMJHL, its hard to find that true defender who just does everything right.  Enter Ruggere, who has all the makings of the perfect partner.  Good in their own zone, making smart reads all throughout the game, GMS and coaches will be leaning on Ruggere for years to come.  Which GM will be the first one to take Ruggere off the board, he shouldn’t last too long.”

Lonley Stagan

Bio: [ L | #46 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 7
Key Skills: Defensive Read | All Around Defender
What the Scouts are saying: “like Ruggere, Canada too has their own version of the true defender.  Stagan is also known to drop the gloves at any time, whether to defend their team or to get the squad going.  Stagan may never put up top pairing point totals, but you can absolutely expect a solid plus minus, great with the puck, GMs can rely on Stagan to hold the fort down regardless of the situation.”

Max Pane

Bio: [ R | #52 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 4
Key Skills: Screening | Puckhandling | Acceleration | Speed | Stamina
What the Scouts are saying: “If you are a GM looking for some true off the line speed, with great hands, and a love for the front of the net.  If so, here is your best bet.  Pane is exactly that, a real pain the ass to goalies.  Pane may be from Canada, but I am positive that they were born in the goal crease.  With a knack for tipping pucks and lighting the lamp, this brave player is ready to do whatever it takes to win, today.”

Garrett Archer

Bio: [ L | #98 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Speed | Passing | Getting Open
What the Scouts are saying: “Get your radar guns out, this unique talent is about to set records.  Boasting the fastest legs in the draft, Archer will be making the defense dizzy all night long.  High work rate, quick of the hope, and willing to drop the gloves.  Archer is the future for almost any team willing to take them on.  GMs, stop second guessing, Archer is ready for this.”

Borje Samuelsson

Bio: [ L | #2 | Sweden ]
Posts at time of writing: 20,081
Key Skills: Puck Handling | Offensive Read | Speed | Stamina | Strength | Acceleration | Agility
What the Scouts are saying: “Swedish fans, get excited.  This prospect is ready to change the game.  With arguably the nicest stride in the draft, Samuelsson packs some serious heat at both ends of the ice.  Never outworked, this Swedish defender is nearly ready to start contributing at the International level, let along the SMJHL.  Don’t miss out on this can’t miss prospect.”

Klondike Klinkhammer

Bio: [R | #99 | United States ]
Posts at time of writing: 6
Key Skills: All Around Defender
What the Scouts are saying: “Meet, The Hammer.  The Hammer has been wowing scouts all season and there seems to be no end in sight.  Blessed with a fantastic all around game, Klinkhammer should be given every opportunity to continue to develop by their future GM.  Any scenario, Klinkhammer is ready to battle it out with the best of them.  For any Right Defense out there, get ready to enjoy your future D partner, they are bringing it all.”

Yannick Svoboda

Bio: [ R | #18 | Czech Republic ]
Posts at time of writing: 8
Key Skills: All Around Playmaker
What the Scouts are saying: “Any team that needs a responsible playmaker, capable of a solid forecheck and a great back check, here is your player.  Armed with speed for days, Svoboda seems poised to break down opposing defences night after night.  Ready to slot into most teams top 6, expect Svoboda to exceed most GMs expectations right out of the gate.”

UPDATE:
Note that the following players listed below joined after the initial publication of the article.
their information is not included in the graphs in Part 1, but felt it was worth doing a little write up in Part 3

Roger Cadorette

Bio: [ L | #14 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 2
Key Skills: All-Around Skill
What the Scouts are saying: "It seems that Canada cannot turn off the talent pool.  Cadorette is yet another quality prospect joining the fold.  Impressive scouts with their all-around game, Cadorette contributes all around the rink.  Not known to specialize, Cadorette prefers to lay low and stay under the radar.  This low key mindset has kept Cadorette as a go to for all the teams he has played for, he'll have a hard time avoiding the spotlight after this draft, this kid has good things coming."

Brady Bertrand

Bio: [ R | #69 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 2
Key Skills: Strength | Speed | Stamina
What the Scouts are saying: "Bertrand is easily the strongest player in the draft, blessed with speed and stamina, good luck moving Brady at any time.  If Bertrand wants to get in front of the net to screen, they will and they will not be moved.  Expect Bertrand to find a great niche on the powerplay with their ability to grab and hold pucks down low, which also using their above average finishing to clean up anything around the net. A 20+ goal season as a rookie is not out of the equation."

Maximum Wright

Bio: [ R | #3 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 2
Key Skills: Shooting Acc. | Speed | Offensive Read
What the Scouts are saying: Pun Intended, Wright knows how to do it Right.  With the purest shot in the draft, expect Wright to be taking shots all night long.  Any GM looking to replace scoring talent, it is pretty simple, they are Wright in front of you.  But Wright is not a one trick pony, expect Wright to mix it up in the corners and throw their body around.  With the body to excel even beyond Juniors, this is only just the beginning."

AJ Jones

Bio: [ R | #9 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Shooting Range | Stamina | Speed
What the Scouts are saying: "The Canadians just keep pumping out goalscorer after goalscorer.  Jones brings pace and agility to an absolute mammoth set of offensive skills.  With an absolute booming shot, Jones might be that 4th forward your team has been looking for.  Though Jones might be the best offensive defensemen in the draft, scouts note that the defensive side of their game needs some work.  But that is what Junior is for, work out the kinks, find your areas of weakness, and get ready for the pros.  Jones thinks they have what it takes, let's see what the GMs think."

Tony Girard

Bio: [ L | #11 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Speed | Acceleration
What the Scouts are saying: "Wow, just wow.  Girard has some serious wheels.  Known to be the fastest player in all of Canada, expect Girard to blow by even the most seasoned defenders in the SMJHL.  No slouch in the face-off circle either, Girard projects to be a wiry forward that cannot be contained.  Give them a season to refine their offensive talents, and the other GMs in the league could have their hands full."

Red Tarkington

Bio: [ R | #6 | Ireland ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Shooting Range | Well Rounded
What the Scouts are saying: "Tarkington, one of only a few Irish lads making the trip across the water, could be the future of their country.  Offensively gifted, defensively sound, and relying on a positive set of physical skills, Tarkington has it all to succeed in both the SMJHL, and the SHL in a few years time.  It wouldnt surprise any scouts if a GM took an early chance on the gifted defender.  Only time will tell how the transition from the Euro to the North American game treats Tarkington."

Jamie Hunter

Bio: [ L | #11 | United States ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Speed | Acceleration | Agility
What the Scouts are saying: "Girard is going to have some serious competition when the fastest skater challenge comes around at the rookie showcase.  Boasting the quickest feet in the USA, Hunter is ready to skate full steam ahead.  Not only is Hunter quick, but also has an abundance of offensive gifts that should serve them well in the coming year.  The Defensive game needs work, but they are still young, expect big things from Hunter."

Alexander Mackenzie

Bio: [ R | #22 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 3
Key Skills: Well Rounded Offensive and Physical
What the Scouts are saying: "Have you ever wondered what the modern day Rust or Simmonds looks like, well look no further.  Mackenzie has everything in the toolbox to be a top line winger that wears down their opponents all night long.  Parked in front of the net on the powerplay, this goal scorer is willing to get into the tough places to ensure their team has the best change to win.  Pair them with a good passer, and a 30+ Goal campaign could be on Mackenzie's horizon."

Carson Bishop

Bio: [ L | #91 | Germany ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Speed | Positioning
What the Scouts are saying: "Though we haven't seen a ton of Bishop just yet, expect Bishop to exceed GM expectations this week at the prospect games.  Offensively gifted, always in the right position, Bishop is a center that GMs can build around for years to come.  The transition to the North American game won't come easy, but give this prospect time and they should serve your fanbase well."

Rodrigo Rivic

Bio: [ R | #22 | Ireland ]
Posts at time of writing: 2
Key Skills: Passing | Puck-handling
What the Scouts are saying: "Another Irishman, Rivic is one of the best passers in the game today, though, no slouch when it comes time to shoot either.  Arguably one of the most offensively gifted forwards, Rivic has the potential to put up some serious points in their junior career.  Paired with a solid two-way player, Rivic will be freed up to do what they do best, and GMs will be thanking their scouts for pointing this gem out."

I.P. Nightly

Bio: [ R | #25 | United States ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Checking | Hitting | Defensive Read
What the Scouts are saying: "Nightly is a freight train.  All night forwards are going to be seen plastered against the boards when Nightly is on the ice.  Not one to play dirty, Nightly has a great knack for understanding their own zone better than anyone else.  Don't expect forward to be excited to play against whatever team drafts Nightly, a few might even be nursing an injury before the game (and if not before, definitely after).  Nightly should rile up the crowd, and help create an electric atmosphere for your fans."

Gus Ceroni

Bio: [ R | #14 | Canada ]
Posts at time of writing: 1
Key Skills: Shooting Acc. | Speed
What the Scouts are saying: "Can you hear that? that's your team's goal horn going off for the third time tonight at the hands of Ceroni.  Another lightning fast Canadian, Ceroni brings a decently well rounded approach to their game.  But wow can they shoot.  They'll keep firing the puck all night long until the final whistle blows.  Get excited hockey fans, Ceroni is coming to a rink near you."

Aleksei Volkov

Bio:
Posts at time of writing: 2
Key Skills: Face-offs | Defensive Read | Stamina
What the Scouts are saying: "GMs, if you are looking for the best defensive forward in the draft, just stop right here.  Volkov has everything a GM could want and then some.  Arguably one of the best face-off winners in this draft class, expect Volkov to be winning at least 60% of their draws, even as a rookie.  That percentage should only go up as they continue to refine their craft."

That is it, that is all.

and to all the prospects, get ready to meet your new teams!
