Welcome to Team Spotlight Weeks!

It's time to announce our next Spotlight Group!

To prevent any spoilers from RSS-feeds on Discord, the teams for this Spotlight Group will be posted in the initial reply of this thread. Please scroll down to find them.

Both graphics and media department have their own rules.

Rules to receive the 2x payout:

Always mark your submission title with [2x Team Spotlight]!

Graphics:

You must submit at least two different graphics in one thread.
Your submission must cover at least two of the teams in each group.
Each graphic can feature one or more teams from the group.
Maximum of 4 submissions per week.
Exception: For hockey cards, you may submit up to 6 per week.
The 2x bonus only applies to graphics that follow the rules. All other graphics will receive a regular payout.

Example Spotlight Group:
SHL Teams: A, B, C
SMJHL Teams: D, E

Examples of Eligible Submissions:

Example 1:
Submit one graphic featuring SHL Team A and another graphic featuring SMJHL Team D.
Eligibility: Eligible for the bonus (two graphics, two teams covered).

Example 2:
Submit one graphic that includes SHL Team A and SHL Team B, and another graphic featuring SMJHL Team E.
Eligibility: Eligible for the bonus (two graphics, two teams covered).

Example 3:
Submit a graphic showing only SHL Team C - or: Submit two graphics showing only SHL Team C.
Eligibility: Not eligible for the bonus (only one team covered).

All Graphics submission guidelines. The weekly submission deadline for graphics is always on Sunday (11:59 PM PST).

Videos:

no rules other than: make one (or multiple) video about one of the teams featured in this group to get the double payout.
All videos go into the video submissions forum.

Written media and podcasts:

At least one of the five spotlight teams needs to be covered in written media (250+ words) or in a podcast (20+ minutes).
No maximum amount of submissions per group.
SMJHL content goes into the SMJHL media forum, SHL content into the SHL media forum.
AI-generated content is not permitted. For more details, please refer to our Policy on AI Tools for Content Creation.

You are allowed to collect 2x payout for eligible submissions in both departments, so you can submit both graphics and media for each group if you want to.

Each Spotlight Group is featured for three (3) weeks. Find the exact dates in each group's announcement. The next group will be announced in 3 weeks.

Our second Spotlight Group will be Edmonton Blizzard, Buffalo Stampede and Atlanta Inferno from the SHL and San Diego Tidal and Thunder Bay Walleye from the SMJHL.
