Now I want to know where I am at in the top 10 scoring for defensemen? Somewhere around 6 or 7 I would think? Huh

I made that up. It's not like the experts actually put in their two cents for each of their ratings.

For those of you guys who are annoyed by the ratings this year: look how many people voted. That is four guys with a rating of 1-5 for each player. One down rating could drop you down a ton of spots.

o nvm that part then. Still... that means out of those 4 I got an average of 3.25/5 as a 40 point scorer (27th in the league in points) playing on the second line of a Cup Finalist team.

Oh shit, there was only four people voting? Well yeah, you are going to have large gains and drops. Perhaps next year, get ten people voting out of ten and total score out of 100?

Rankings have always had aberrations (Some guys in their rookie seasons have gotten 4s or 5s while established veterans have gotten 2s or 3s), but again, one guy gives you a 2 and you are pretty much screwed.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*
*All-Time Leader Among All Skaters

Then those people SHOULD NOT be allowed to vote. Replace them with someone who isn't either so biased or so inexperienced that he gives a rookie a 4 or 5, which discredits his whole list basically.

This isn't an official vote, and I think further depleting the voting pool makes absolutely no sense.

Hopefully with the new changes I am going to propose to Abdeezy for next season's rankings (ratings out of 10, clear-cut definition of what makes someone a 10 or 5 or whatever, wingers/centers/goalies/defensemen who vote have their votes make a greater impact on the average as they know more about the players in their respective positions) there will be more interest in actually being an expert for this thing and there will be fewer ties and less outrage over the results.

I think since last years list was delayed quite a bit, this was just too close to the previous edition so all those people who had just voted a few weeks ago weren't particularly interested in being an expert again. Might have been better to just skip a year if you don't find enough experts or you get too many shitty votes from them.

You would think there would be plenty of people who would be interested who have never been experts before.

Why don't you just run the voting like the NFL network does their top 100 and asks bunch of players to give their top 20 then compile the results to get your top 100
