I will officially be closing my window at 9PM EST tonight. And making my choice then, it certainly will be a tougher choice that I could have expected.

That being said, my goal is to prepare and start to fit in with my new team as soon as possible. I will leave offers open untill 830 tonight. After that I will be making my choice, ATM I have some solid offers.

So I have come to a decision, however I'm going to talk about each of the teams first.

1st Hamilton Steelhawks.

They were the first team to even contact me, now they were not really on my radar with Tanner being the man of the future; However they approached me and showed good faith, along with being helpful with the RFA/UFA situation. That won them some points on my choice.

2nd Minnesota Chiefs

The second team to approach me, originally not on my radar untill Rajan picked Texas they moved up the list. Not only the chance to learn from Vancouver legend Jordin FourfourFourfour, but what seems like a great team with well run management team. All pluses, not to mention a likely big time role sooner than later.

3rd Buffalo Stampede.

No team has contacted me more, and I'm not talking GM wise this team almost all messaged me, stating they want me here. Plus the chance to be the record holder for the franchise and the go to guy. Even if they are abit from competing its awfully interesting.

Buffalo Stampede

This was the hardest choice I have ever had to make in my life, the Chiefs made a very strong pitch. They are also going to be competitive sooner rather than later. What ended up winning me over at the end of the day, was two things A) the chance to be the back bone of a new franchise, and 2) the overwhelming PMs from the teams members. I felt welcome with both teams, but they made me feel much like I do in the Whalers lockeroom. Loved and part of the family, early on which is great.

To Josh, I have nothing but respect for what you have done with the Chiefs franchise. From what I saw before you took over the team was in some very dark times. You managed to build a great core, and add to that. Which is why it was so hard to decide between the two. The ability to help be the back bone of a new organization, just pushed them slightly over the top. I knew I'd be welcomed with open arms here as well, so well the PMs helped Buffalo it wasn't the final factor.
I wish you the best of luck next season, and in the future just not to much luck when I become a full time starter .
