Goalies are staying about the same with SV% (maybe even trending upward, from what I've seen), so I'm fine with players ending the season with more points.

If goalies are still having good SV% and teams are keeping their GAA in the ~2-3 range, all this means is that the higher-end talent is scoring more and the players that aren't elite ... aren't. Which is, I think, how it should be.

Make endurance matter more?
That would be very cool and have wondered why we have not before this point. A team with only 5 - 6 decent TPE players should not be neck and neck with a 4 line deep decent TPE team.

Lets implemant injuries to :D

Play your guys 30 minutes a game, better chance they will pay a long term price lol

people might go inactive if they tear a fuckin MCL/ACL or smt and are out for a season or get concussions, or wtv. It would be a bad idea that really has no point.

its a simulation league not real life.

As has been discussed before, injuries are basically a nightmare. If someone's player is injured for, say, two RL weeks, there's not a whole lot keeping them active. Especially a newer player that may still be deciding whether they like the site or not.

But possibly more important is that we sim multiple days at a time. If someone is injured in day 1 of the sim, the simmer can't finish until he gets new lines from the GM that reflect the injured player being out temporarily. If this happens regularly (or even at all, really), it can slow down the season significantly.

I think the idea is neat and I'd REALLY like to see depth rewarded more and an end to players getting 35 minutes a game, but injuries are just more trouble than they're worth when it comes to actually implementing them.

That´s true.

Injuries would only work ´well´ in a league with seasons that take less time to start and finish. Missing even 2 weeks of games would suck quite badly.

An alternitve solution to injuries to combat huge minutes, could be adding a rule where no 1 player can have more than X% of time on any set of 5v5 lines.
