Ready for Grading!!!

For those of you who check the "Points per 20 Minutes" box on the individual leader's page of the index and wish there were a fantasy points per 20 minutes (FPPM) box; your dreams have come true (well I was curious at least). With that said here are your top 10 FPPM. There were a few, low minutes players that were considered anomalies so to be considered for this list you must have played at least 100 minutes during season 33. So with no further ado here are your top fantasy point per minute leaders:

1) Big Manius Jets - Scoring 365 points in 1167 minutes made Big Manius the leader in FPPM with 6.2 FPPM, and making him the only player to average more than 6 FPPM. His 365 points was third in the overall SHL fantasy scoring.

2) Alonzo Garbanzo Chiefs - Scoring 401 points in 1403 minutes made Alonzo Garbanzo second in FPPM with 5.72 FPPM. Mr. Garbanzo was the league leading scoring defenseman with 48 points and led the league in shots blocked with 110. His 401 points made him second in overall SHL fantasy scoring.

3) Theo Kane Blizzard - Scoring 404 points in 1415 minutes made Theo Kane the third in FPPM with 5.71 FPPM. Theo Kane had one of the most amazing seasons in SHL history. He led the league in goals, points and hits, racking up 33, 72 and 239 respectively. His 404 points made him the SHL fantasy scoring champion.

4) Randy Randleman Dragons - Scoring 327 points in 1174 minutes made Randleman fourth in FPPM with 5.5758 FPPM, barely squeaking ahead of Banananov. Randleman's offensive numbers and hits were the majority of his fantasy numbers. His 327 points made him fourth overall in SHL fantasy scoring.

5) Chernika Banananov :admirals: - Scoring 269 points in 966 minutes made Banananov the fifth in FPPM with 5.5755 FPPM. Chernika Banananov's fantasy numbers were primarily from his offensive numbers as he only racked up 17 hits and 17 shots blocked. His 269 points made him 28th in overall SHL fantasy scoring.

6) Danny Foster Steelhawks - Scoring 254 points in 967 minutes made Bananas the sixth in FPPM with 5.26 FPPM. Having an impressive start to his early SHL career, the two time Turd Ferguson winner got the bulk of his fantasy numbers from hits and shots blocked. His 254 points made him 36th in overall SHL fantasy scoring.

7) Jorma Ruutu Panthers - Scoring 303 points in 1171 minutes made Jorma the seventh in FPPM with 5.18 FPPM. Ruutu's 48 points, 153 hits and 55 shots blocked show how well rounded a player he is. His 303 points made him tenth in overall SHL fantasy scoring.

8) Tim Buckner Wolfpack - Scoring 240 points in 954 minutes made Tim Buckner the eighth in FPPM with 5.0 FPPM. Mr. Bucker's physical play and offensive numbers carried him on to this list, that and his ability to take advantage of his ice time. His 240 points made him 49th in overall SHL fantasy scoring.

9) Ben Dover Steelhawks - Scoring 289 points in 1164 minutes made Ben Dover the ninth in FPPM with 4.96 FPPM. Ben Dover's offensive numbers and his impressive number of shots blocked put him on this list. His 289 points made him 16th in overall SHL fantasy scoring.

10) Kristian Eriksson Stars - Scoring 275 points in 1112 minutes made Kristian Eriksson tenth in FPPM with 4.95 FPPM. Kristian Eriksson's 213 hits is a big reason why he is on this list. His 275 points made him 23rd in overall SHL fantasy scoring.

And to give credit where credit is due here is a shout out to the anomalies that I mentioned earlier.
Master Maguku averaged 10 points per 20 played based off his three minutes played.
Brandon Pomery averaged 8.5 points per 20 played based off his seven minutes played.
Pablo Biznette averaged 8 points per 20 played based off his one minute played.
Moosejaw Boudreau averaged 7.6 points per 20 played based off his nineteen minutes played.
What do these men need to do to get more ice time!

Here is the link to the spread sheet used.

Even though this means nothing, I was asked to do it and with the stuff I had complied it was not hard. Here are your top 5 SHL teams based on “Team Fantasy Points per Game”.

1) The New England Wolfpack with an average of 62 Fantasy points per game. Wolfpack
2) The Calgary Dragons with an average of 60 Fantasy points per game. Dragonite
3) The Los Angeles Panthers with an average of 59 Fantasy points per game. Panthers
4) The Manhattan Rage with an average of 57.5 Fantasy points per game. Rage
5) The Edmonton Blizzard with an average of 57.4 Fantasy points per game. Blizzard

I add another pretty page to my spreadsheet that breaks down all the teams in the league.

I hope Manious gets nominated for the Stevens. I was tracking his stats all season, and he really had a hell of a year.

Alonzo Garbanzo Final Tallies (Among Defensemen):
2nd in Goals (208), All-Time Assists Leader (765)*, All-Time Points Leader (973), 3rd in Hits (2587), All-Time Blocked Shots Leader (1882)*

Neat to see this "in writing" after you discussed it on Big Slappy, and to see the folks beyond the top two or three.
