TPE montly cap

The people who want to make changes can't even decide what they should change  Their opinions change every single page. Most of these suggestions are just plain dimwitted, I suggest some stop giving their input..

Less uncapped TPE, graphics to cash, and TPE cap per week.. It's not tough and they aren't huge changes like some people here want to do. 10 TPE to update 1 fucking point in 95-99? Are you serious?

Yes, I was. If you want to be elite at a skill, you should have to pay for it. Update scale was made for that, but increased PTs, anf so many points on offer have made it pointless. By the time every forward gets to their fourth or fifth season, they are going to have 99 in scoring, passing, skating and puck handling. The update scale is to create variation in players, but it isn't doing that. People have this desire to have a 'perfect' player, but it just makes for a shit league if everyone has 99 in the major attributes.

Exactly imagine a league in a few year were very few player recreate and everyone that is active is all 99s thats what we are headed for it's why I created this thread not to protect myself but as simmer point out how silly it is to see 99 in every category :s

I'm in the VHL In my 5th season where you start with 0 TPE have a 9 TPE cap per week and I'm still 99's in all of those categories.

My point is that I don't want people to be able to easily achieve that, if at all. I want there to be variation between builds. Personally, I don't see the fun in pretty much every player being maxed out in key attributes. I think being forced to have strengths and weaknesses can only be a good thing for the league.

So we are going back to having player types?

You might just see people all go sniper or something though... As this sim version mainly rewards scoring.

Okay so you're gonna be the grinder in the league? You do know if a lot of guys have 99's it means they won't be as effective because most players have it? Not every game is going to be 12-11. It balances out anyways.

I'm just making suggestions. I'm not a big fan of being able to max out. I personally think that if you want 99 in an attribute, it should have a really significant cost.

Out of respect of the higher numbers I'll be using a cap of 97 on my attributes this year, 98 next and 99 in my third year Wink

Rookies still need seasoning before they can be on the same level as the current top players, remember the season is only a few games old, the goal/assist stats will balance out eventually.

I fail to see the fun if everyone has 99 in all key attributes. My point is not about the rate of scoring, or statisticd. I just want to see people having to make smart decisions with their build, instead of just knowing they'll be maxed out eventually.

The thing is though, people were having to make decisions on their build for a while. The problem, and really the only problem, is that in the two full seasons the update scale has been in place, we've been able to get as many or MORE Uncapped Points as we have capped points. The way I see it we should just leave things the way they are as far as the update scale and player types and all that business, and just cut down on the damn uncapped point tasks, and pay money for graphics.

That's the source of so much maxing out, but if you cut the uncapped PTs now, you're basically screwing future generations of players. How can a player who is a rookie in S12 expect to compete with one from S8 if we decrease the points available now? Unless everyone is happy with an end game that has the majority of the league maxing out their key attributes, then we need to rethink some things.
