O4L - OFER! I admittingly know next to nothing about you, you were a junior commish if I remember correctly but other than that I don't think we had too much interaction with each other but none of it was negative. Have only heard good things about you.

DollarAndADream - Caught my eye early as a rookie and I had wanted to draft you but off to Calgary you went and I know next to nothing about you since we obviously do not have the opportunity to converse often. You seem like someone I would get along well with, so I hope you stick around for a long time.

cOOkies - For most, I have nothing to go on and like the two above you that includes you as well but I usually associate some mental image with each person and have always chuckled of the mental image of the Dragons GMs being a crazy Oilers guy who maybe tattooed his body orange and blue and then you standing there in a blue furry outfit eating a cookie and saying OM NOM NOM. Don't judge me.

Ferdy - What the hell, why do I have myself listed on the Dragons? Ah, god, I love how you just took that all in stride despite expressing early feelings that you'd rather have just left if that was the way this league is. I was fucking infuriated by the league and how little they did to rectify the situation for a new member as quickly as possible. I am glad we got through and you went on to become a productive and very active member.

You put in a hell of an application for PT assistant and you were one of the last three considered for a job, I wanted to hire you trust me and it was an extremely difficult decision not to. Tango and myself agreed on Allegiant pretty quickly, while hesitant to hire another teammate over you, Durdens resume included a background in creative writing and it pained me to have to say no, that drive you showed and preparedness in your application nearly made me give you the job from the start.

I want you to know if anyone steps down, for you to apply cause you would likely get the job this time around. Cheers man, hope we get to play together someday as I was upset we didn't get to draft you.

Caillean - I find your brand of humor hilarious, the video of "Why's Gorlab Butthurt" made me laugh so hard it hurt. I don't know too much about you sadly as you seem to be newer and keep to the LR a lot (I think) being my fantasy group manager has been cool though, thanks for signing up to lead the group :D

Coolstar87 - I miss you. You were great in our LR and I wish you could have retained access to both but unfortunately the league does not allow that and I have barely spoken to you since. You were inactive/semi active up until recently which I think is a good reason why we haven't. Hope all is well with you buddy, Wong should turn out well.

ThatDamnWalrus - I like I said hadn't a clue you were around/active too much since I had not seen you at all and then seeing you being picked as a junior GM confused the absolute hell out of me. Seeing the application and talking to you through PM's made it much more clear and your hiring of The Moush did yourself and your franchise wonders. Best of luck, but don't do better than Halifax ok?

jaladolar - There are a few players from Season 20 that I miss up and you and ArgarBarGar (maybe the Ar thing at the end) either way, I have liked you around here and am glad you stayed and continue to contribute. Your player name is great and I would love to see someone sign up as Bender or Fry.

TheBigSchnoz - You added me on Steam but we have not played a game together at all yet, which is unfortunate. Because of your name, I associate you with Triple H from the WWE, cause I have nothing else to go on. You are relatively new and we have not had the opportunity to interact but I have enjoyed you so far. Stick around.

Hattrick44 - You became active a month or two after we traded you so I never got to know you at all. You had a very solid player and did well despite not being the highest in TPE. Hope Calgary is treating you well. Good luck.

Rublic - Firebirds Head. Damn man, we can never seem to get it done can we? Then always with the crappy picks as well it seems that Prince George continously gets screwed every year and has to work harder. You are a great dude whom I have enjoyed chatting with in the last few seasons. I love the name Bronson Zerchai, no idea why, it just seems a hockey name. Good luck this year man, would love to see a Four Star Cup in Prince George again, it's been too long.

Steelhead77 - ESA! One of my current favorite players and the member behind isn't too shabby either, you are classy and one of the best members of the site. I hated you getting named CoGM because I was hoping at some point we'd get to play together. That won't happen now but I wish you nothing but the best as a player and a coGM.
Seventy-Four - You were semi active in Minny when i was CoGM, didn't get to talk to you too much but thought you'd be awesome if you were actually active. Not sure how active you are in the LR but haven't seen you around the league in ever.

Kikish18 - You are one of the older members but I don't recall seeing you post much around the site. Maybe you are quieter and there isn't an issue with that at all, just wish I saw more of you since you seem to have been around awhile and I don't much at all about you.

Gorlab - Now would you look at this jabroni. Look man, I know when your ban is up I will be eating crow, though chatting with you in PM's caused me to ask to be put back in. I am glad you didn't bump anyone for me though and ended up winning it. We are similar in that we both narrowly missed out on a franchise, trust me I was bitter, angry and such as well but knew no good would show if I said anything about it. Congratulate the winners and move on.

The part that I was angry about was the team being put in Halifax. There have been a few here who wanted one here for years and me being one of them. I wanted to found it and not having my name called I was fine with, cause "Ill just found it next time"
Ugh, we know how that worked out. Anyway, I hope upon your return that there isn't too much shit but I expect some and will grab an extra large bag of popcorn.

Stud - God, you are a such a troll but have a great memory of this sites history, have been an active member forever and while a troll it isn't a shitty troll. I like good trolls, ones who do it properly and get a laugh but don't push things too far. I know you mentioned a Commish job, yeah, Id support you. You get shit done and I don't think are too scared to stand up to anyone on this site.

I quite liked Belial, which if my Diablo serves me correct is the Lord of Lies? Potato Chip up next is kinda awesome, are you baked or fried? Also, I am going to refer to you now as Stud The Spud. Deal with it.




Pizzarony - A newer member I do not know much about yet, I don't know many people on Edmonton actually, so please do not feel offended. I have enjoyed you so far and hope you stick around, great new member.

Lunaro - Firebirds COGM!!! Dude, I am so jealous. Didn't know the position was open til after you got it and was upset about it for awhile. Glad you have done well for them, god we have such shitty luck with draft picks and positioning. Would love to see the Four Star back in Prince George and with the roster and you and Rubs at the helm, I see it really soon. You are a good dude who I am proud to call a fellow alumni, you do the Firebirds proud man.

Smirnov - Ah, I think you are the other Smirnov, the newer one. It's funny seeing your name being so similar to an older player. I mean right now we have Rich701 and Richest701 aka Young Guano God or whatever he changed his name to. We also have Diamond Ace, Ace and The Ace. Besides changing your name I know little about you. You seem like good people, so keep it up.

Jake_ilinnuc - I have always read your name out in my head as Jake AINEC (And it's not even close) weird eh? I am then curious where your last name comes from. I assume it is an internet username that you use as I don't think I have ever heard of it before. Another person who is quiet but good people.

kit - Anyone that holds true to a bet is a good dude and laid back imo. You losing to the Pack and taking the avatar and name change got my respect. You have been less active lately but seem to have come back as of late. One of the powerhouse members from Season 20, you somehow went a step above in that draft list which will go down as the best in league history just from the members we got and what it did to the site in activity. you were part of it, thank you.

Andybj - I assume your name is your initials cause otherwise, I have a dirty mind and whenever I grade one of your articles/see your name in bank transactions it kicks in. Someone who has been around here a little while and I know nothing about as I don't recall you posting much outside your LR. Like you though when you do.

Jedi - Hey, know little besides you had a birthday recently, hope it went well and you got what you wanted. And anyone who is a Star Wars fan can't be bad people right? May the Force be with you.

M-Dawg - MAH DAWG! I wish you were MAH DAWG, then I could refer to you as MAH DAWG and it not be completely fake. You are likely the best DAWG on here DAWG. You've been around for a bit but we have never spoken, we should change that DAWG!

JKane89 - Now that you have gone onto great things elsewhere, having moved on from Edmonton after we traded you, it looks like an ever more regrettable deal on our side of things. I remember the only issue was you didn't update as much as expected and had a hefty contract at the time with lots of up and coming rookies. I am sorry that happened, you were a player I had wished to keep but we had to move you. I am happy things worked out for you though and you went places.

Abdeezy - DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZYYYYYYYYYYYYY God, it's been so long since we shared an LR, Season 5 I think was the last time. You were one of my first friends on the site and I miss chatting with you dearly. You are a good dude despite a couple blunders here but have been an amazing member since and your journey through the SHL has been inspiring, I kinda want to do something similar. Some people may have an issue with copying what you did, but that's just like, their opinion.

Teztify - Oh brotha, TEZTIFY! You are one of the more long tenured GMs here and I think you have returned the Edmonton Blizzard to respectabiltty after a few dark years where it didn't look good. You have a good core now and a strong LR by the looks of it, good luck next season, was weird seeing you guys finish last in the west after we did in the East one season removed from us both being in the Cup finals.

Kel - Know next to nothing about you except that you had the PBP for the cup winning game and seemed obviously upset at the result. It's understandable and disheartening to be the one on your team to know what happened before it is released publicly. I don't blame you for how you felt and hope to see you win your own Cup soon. Good luck and no hard feelings.

Josh* - The other Josh, funny how I didn't get along with either of you too well though recently in your advisor role we have spoken and when it isn't over something we disagree on you are very enjoyable to converse with. I would like to bury whatever hatchet there may be because I don't have any issue with you at all honestly.

Keenan - Someone who has been around forever and I somehow have not interacted with at all. That is unfortunate as I think you are a pretty good person and have not seen anything from you that could be considered negative. A good long time member.

Yousuf - I already spoke about your brother earlier. You two are the old men of the league, the greybeards and it was weird when you and Darian split up. It would like the Sedin brothers splitting up, it would be weird and foreign because it is not what we would be used to at all. You have a great player who has played a long time. I see a retirement sometime soon, likely at the same time as your brother and see two brothers being created again. If so, good luck.



Joester - Joey! One of the old guard who just didn't know how to retire as well. I have shared several LRs with you now but don't think I ever really got to know you. I know you are into music and wrestling but other than that not too much. I hear Syckez give you great rep even if you weren't the most active or the biggest TPE whore, you were active in the LR and that is very undervalued in this league.

SnS - I kept for the longest time thinking your name was SMS, then when we were put in fantasy group together I noticed my mistake and felt like an idiot. You are a good dude from what I have seen so far. Stick around.

Uzi - One of my favorite avys on the site, I have liked you as a member from the start and wish we could have selected you but nope, off you went elsewhere and not really a chance to speak since. Too bad really, I would love to see more of that avatar.

Mstuk41 - Reading your name, it seems to be a play on words. Is it? Mistook For One? if so, that is very very clever. I like when people use wordplay and am a fan of puns. Anywho, I don't know much about you but like the rest of the Panthers, I like you.

Jormaruutu - As a PT team member, I noticed you were one of the few who did every point task, hats off completely to you. you are one of those members who are silent around the league cause I don't recall a post outside the LR anytime recent from you but steadily and quickly improve. You will be a star in this league and no one will see it coming.

Box Of Wine - I think you are from the VHL and I know it has many quality sigmakers, you among them. I don't know you all that well but from what I have seen you are outspoken on issues you feel need addressing and aren't afraid to take what comes with being outspoken.

The Mazais - Not entirely sure how your username is pronounced, I always assumed The Maze-E is how but I am likely wrong. I see you around the league alot and have enjoyed it though I know you and most of your teammates very little. Panthers are a team I would want to play for with my next player, would be sweet if you were still around.

Etipou - Now you, your name I have always thought was EatPoo and if that is offensive in any way I am sorry, I imagine many people on here have their names mispronounced at times and I expect that includes you. Another quieter member who is improving without much notice. Like Ruutu, you will have a good player and no one will see it coming.

Wasty - So, I have heard your name is Whas T not Waste E. That is infuriating as Fredrik Wastlund (Wasteland) is what I always thought it was. unless i am being trolled which is possible given who I was told by. Anywho, you are one of my favorite GM's and when Ace decided to let me fall to a later pick I held my breath until each name was called. I remember it going to the Panthers and thinking "Meh, I would be ok with that.

So close this year, I felt awful for you guys. Having been to Game 7 of a finals and losing myself, I can say it is the most gutting fucking feeling in the world. Though discussions with others place the Panthers at the top of the contention list next season since very little changed. Another season like that from Weekes would almost guarentee a Cup. Best of luck to you guys, you deserve to raise it next year.

Vbottas - First, again I am sorry for my reaction to the Halifax franchise, we've chatted in private and the way you carried yourself and discussed it with me shows me you are a great choice for a GM and I hope for nothing but the best for you next season. You have created an incredibly good player who has been productive from the start. I remember when we were drafted there was a small issue about drafting or something but since then, I have nothing but enjoyed having you here. Make Halifax proud man! The absolute best of luck to you this coming season.

Soulja - What a trooper, another of your team who is quiet but will end up with a good player and a good year. Wish you would post outside the LR a bit more cause IIRC, I enjoyed when you do though it is rare.

Jackson - What a season, breaking records, setting the bar, Game 7 of the finals and it all comes crashing down in overtime. Fuck man, I feel for you. You have a great player and a great team and you will make it again and make it soon. I know little about you except the Manhattan goaltending thing and it looks like you turned out better so far, though James is nothing to sneeze at. It added a rivarly between East and West which we don't have enough of in my opinion. Good luck next season, I think the Cup is yours to lose this year.

STZ - Ugh, I am starting to hate saying this but I don't know you well at all. I have nothing bad to say at all, just I don't see you too much and don't have much of an opinion but I doubt you are the sole dickwad of an otherwise great team, so cheers to you.

Ragnar - OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH THERE ONCE WAS HERO NAMED RAGNAR! Ha, how you doing buddy? Easily one of my favorite players and posters. A total class act. One of the pioneers of the bank and the reason it functions SOOOO much better then the old days. A great junior commish and one of my favorite avatars. Hell, you could join a thread and just post " <---" and it build hype. Glad to have a member like you around bud, good luck this season.



JumpierPegasus - Hey! Hows it? You joined a long time ago and if i remember you were fairly young then. You always to me anyways acted like a mature individual so I never noticed and didn't believe it until I was told. You are at the helm of a brand new frachise and well done all around, colors, location and name. You have gotten a good group together very quickly and I would not be surprised to see you make the playoffs within the next season or two. I remember HFFO and you being friends but I never got to know you as he never stuck around a team for too long and it never caused you to join my team due to that. I have said I would wear the Admirals logo, just not with this player. I am open to all teams next player and Portland is one I am eyeing and hoping cause those colors are sexy.

Now as for you as a GM, I was originally a bit worried due to the logo not being up very quickly and seemed like you were slacking. I quickly learned that wasn't the case at all but I am not sure how many others knew. It doesn't seem to have impeded you at all thankfully.

I think you will do very well as a GM, you managed to secure Killington, Salmon, Thomaz and Semin very quickly, those players who are already ahead of the draftees should provide you with an excellent core to build upon as only one is regressing. You did well in this draft as well, so you should be able to properly build upon what you have already.

I look forward to facing you in the few games our teams will play this season, best of luck to you in those games (but not too much mind) and this season and beyond. I hope expansion turns out to be a good decision and the team you have in place gives me a strong feeling it will.

Buster Killington - The first player in Portland Admirals history? Well hate to kill your buzz but would that technically be JP's player since they own his prospect rights? Im just screwing with you. I had eyes on you early as a scout, you seemed to be a good fit and I thought things would work out really well. It is unfortunate what happened and I hope no grudge against you at all, only a disappoint due to enjoying your posts in the LR relating to the science field.

I wish you nothing but the best and regret not hiring you for the PT job, you had an impressive resume and your qualifications were fantastic. You and two others were incredibly hard to choose between and I wanted to ask to hire all three but unfortunately I was told prior I would not be able to hire four people (besides PT) and it would be stupid to ask again.

Good luck and weather the storm with your crew that will be the first few seasons. It will be rough seas, but calm seas never made a good sailor.

Trill - Oh shit, sorry bro. Some people I ended up missing, I mean I was bound to but I am unsure of how you slipped through the cracks. I remember writing yours though which is weird.

Anyway, once I heard the details under which you got traded I was a little pissed. You arriving excited me as you didn't seem keen on staying but after a week or two in our LR, you changed your mind rather quickly.

We would have loved to had you stay, you did much better for us on the third line and we improved significantly towards the end of the season due to it. You leaving in Free Agency is understandable if not a little disappointing. Best of luck buddy and stick around this time.




Checkmate - I really can't tell if you like me or hate me, sometimes it seems one way and sometimes the other. We haven't interacted much since the early days and I admittingly was a shithead then, still am but I like to believe I project myself as less of one even though I am not. There has been some craziness as of late with your RFA thing going on, it's rare here and I am curious what precedence that may set with offer sheets and draftees. I honestly can't recall where you ended up. I know it was for 7 million and think it was Buffalo but I am likely wrong.

Pupinsh - You have one of those usernames where I can never be sure what it is unless I ask, it could be Pup-Inch or PooPinch or for all I know, it could sound like Fufinch, I think it's the first once, anyway I digress. I see you here and there but can't say you and I have ever even said hi to each other. So hi, good luck this season and farewell

Hedgehog337 - Some may take offense to this but it feels like Seattle stole their goaltending from the Flyers of the NHL. No matter what, each goalie seems to falter in Seattle. Rose, despite having a great build and strong team was inconsistent for really no reason whatsoever. Laxk was supposed to be the golden boy but ended up becoming inactive due to real life, we were lucky as hell to be able to get him to return to activity and he really hasn't been back much since. I felt kinda bad afterwards however that's the name of the name, now Seattles future rests on your shoulders.

I had eyes on you as a replacement for Tennyson, GoB nabbed you and the rest is history. I think you will turn out to be one of the best goalies in this leagues history. Dunno why, just a feeling. Had the same about Sawyer and he turned out as the most clutch playoff goalie the leagues ever had.

Sam_bennet's_pullup_coach - i typed out your full name, that should make you happy, cause I normally wouldn't. never realized how iritating it can be having that many underscores in a name and that is hypocritical of me as my first MSN name had four.
You are a very active and likable new member, keep that up. Glad to have you here.

HFFO - Oh boy, at the time of this writing you were still on the Riot but for all I know, you have likely retired again

I remember trading a shitton to get Perhonen way back in the day and you ended up retiring him insanely early. Dunno why you won't commit to a player for a long period but this time you seem to be. Good luck in Seattle, if you do stick with it, GoB will make the most of it for you.

Was furious for a long time with you over what happened in Minnesota, but that's in the past now and I hope we can move on. P.S, I don't have your number anymore since that phone has been broken for ages, so you know what to do.

BruinsFanatic100 - Oh, one of you people. Ha, there are Bruins fans on this site whom are astounded how I don't vehemently hate the Bruins seeing as I am a Habs fan. I never had had a problem with the Bruins, an original six with good management, strong depth, a good system, beautiful jerseys and several of my favorite players (Rask, Chara, Berg) and a couple more ex-Bruins (Boychuk, fuck even I was mad about that) and Hamilton ( :( )

Fuck Lucic though, glad that bitch is gone. I have a special hatred for him, he was a take on all comers, edgy, power forward but turned into a douchey parody of himself. Glad he went Los Angeles though, I already despise them so I didn't have to start hating another team just because he plays for them.

Marchand? A first cousin of mine is married to his first cousin, guys as much a little bitch on the ice as off. I would watch a gif of his massive Triple H sized nose getting broken a few hundred times if it were to happen.

mpc - I hate people who have their user names like this, for the longest time I thought it was JK Rever, not JKrever. Then for the longest time I thought you were MPC Lardy, anyway, I see you in Detroit as CoGm and you and Schmidt should do very well. I didn't get to know you really well in juniors and still don't know too much about you but do enjoy having you here and hope you stick.

Leonidas - Between you and Lunaro, I want to cry. It's been five seasons and I still confuse you two at times. I think it's mostly because you are my updater and Lunaro is the CoGM of my junior team so I am usually talking to one or the other of you at some point during the week. I started to remember that you are my updater by remembering "My updater is the Mane" to remember Mane = Leonidas (Lion) it has worked well.

You have been a dedicated and amazing updater, I am not sure if anyone else has thanked you but they really should. Your adhereance to a schedule for updating is very nice and I apolgize for the mistakes I make in the thread at time. Usually after you update I make a new post and edit it over and over, I am incredibly indecisive when it comes to updates so I have a little work area at the bottom I use to plan and sometimes forget to erase it before you update. I try to be as neat and correct as possible to cut down on your work load as I know it is a tedious bitch when a few people have to be contacted.

Hats off to you and the league should pay you more for such a vital job.

GrimmsterJ - Dude...I feel terrible for my gaffs towards the end of the season. I take sole responsibility in the issues and believe me I hung my head pretty low. Thank you for the opportunity, I think you choose the right person for the job with me but I need someone to help keep me in check by offering an outside look at anything I want to do and any impacts I have not seen. As you may have seen, I hired TheNextGreatOne, whom I chat with nearly daily and has been a great teammate and friend, Allegiant who is a new member with strong qualifications and a creative mind and Durden whose background in real life is perfect for the job. I think the four of us will prevent any sort of issues happening again.

For you, you have been an astounding good member, the league benefits greatly from having people such as yourself here and now with you as CoGM in Seattle, that is being recognized fully. Good luck, CoGMing is fun and you are one of the best suited for the job.

ssdd911 - The ONLY person in either league to nail the Cup winning goal, impressive. I know little about you besides you are pretty active even if I don't see your posts all that much. I like your avatar though, which I think makes me want to see you post more. You should do that or at least tell me who that is. :ph34r:

Stevia - After watching Breaking Bad, I begun to wonder if this was a reference. I doubt it but there is a possibility. don't know a hell of a lot about you sadly but you seem like a pretty awesome person from what I can tell.

King - Duddy, my god it has been too long. You were one of my absolute favorites in the LR and I miss you terribly. I hope that life is treating you well though you seem to be a bit busier these days having stepped down as CoGM. I hope it's only a timing thing and nothing serious.

Gamingexpertzcom - What game are you expert of anyway? I know you were in the LR and active when I was there but I don't think I ever asked you that. Anyone who is a gamer I feel I could easily connect with. It is too bad I didn't talk to you much about it prior to my departure.

Gaia - I am actually struggling here, I think we spoke but I can't recall as it was nearly a year and a half ago. I wish I could recall if I did or not. My opinion of you has always been good, so if we did talk it was positive.

Duey - Easily the shittiest part of leaving Seattle was leaving a lockerroom with you in it. You have been able to make me laugh easier and more often then anyone on this site ever has. You have been/had been inactive for awhile and you returned recently if only for a moment because I thought I might be able to see you come to New England but you resigned and now it is an extremely slim chance we get to play together again, at least with our current players.

I miss you buddy, please come back full time.

Patches - Someone I wish I had gotten to know better during my time in Seattle, you are a great dude and a great teammate. I have not heard much from you lately so I am not certain you are even active but if you are, you should post outside the LR more.

fever95 - In the NHL, we see players who modeled their games after a previous star. The inspiration for Colt came from three areas, Jeff Dar, Carter O'Callahan and Fulton Reed (Mighty Ducks) a player who is a great two way player, a fucking beast of a power forward and can't hit the net to save his life.

You were an amazing teammate, a great lockerroom presense and I was pretty sad to see you go but understand that you wanted to contend for a cup more and New England was not where to do it at the time. I hope all is going well for you in real life, it was nice to see you much happier once you got things sorted.

Remember, you ran with the Pack once, you are always a wolve. If you ever need to talk or anything buddy, you're always welcome.

Kylrad - What I know of you is that HFFO handed you at the time, the largest contract in league history. I was against that completely as I felt we should have built instead of spend but I wasn't Head GM there so the choice wasn't up to me. Then you posted twice in the LR all season, once after signing and again when we lost in the finals. That gave me a pretty low opinion of you. I feel that is unjustified though, as I do not know you outside that at all, but first impressions are everything and it wasn't a good one sadly. I don't hold a grudge, just wish you had actually been active in the LR having been given that kind of money.

Rehnx - I Cant believe you left when Cant was on our team, you were tearing it up with Wik, such chemistry I have not seen in a long time and I think it could have turned into something great but it was not meant to be. I really loved having you in the LR and would have you back in a heartbeat. Your girl thing was very interesting to follow, I am curious how it all played out, I hope good but from what you did say I have my doubts. :(

RomanesEuntDomus - RomansEatDonuts cause they are Holy! I am sorry for joking about your name, it really is a great name because any Monty Python fan has to be a funny person. I enjoy your presence in this league greatly, you add a lot to this league and are a true asset. It's unlikely we will ever get to play together, but I want to say there is no other player I want to play with more. That may have something to do with your players age and the liklihood of you retiring sometime soon, but mostly I have had nothing but a positive experience with you so far and would love to chat about your home country as I hope to visit it someday.

Joecool37 - McKeil, if there was a fourth inspiration for Colt, it would be McKeil. Your player has been a staple in this league for ages, you are a very respected person and I don't think I have seen you say a bad thing about anyone on here, or hell, I dont think I have seen you post outside the LR in ages. It looks like McKeil may be in the twilight of his career at this age, I expect retirement is coming soon and that is sad, it's always weird seeing a league lose a staple much like the NHL lost Lidstrom and Brodeur recently. It's weird seeing the team without them on it. Best of luck bud, would be nice to see you put the cap on a great HOF career with one more Cup win.





BigTittySmitty - You have been here forever and I think the most we ever spoke was because I applied for a junior franchise. That is crappy, you seem like a good dude who I think I would have enjoyed having as a teammate if we ever matched up.

EasyMoneySniper - One of the few people to abbreviate your name properly, EMS. Your article/interview series I liked, I had considered doing something like that instead of this but this I decided on because you did that. Have never had much of an issue with you and even then, standing up for teammates is not something I have real issue with. Glad to be getting along with you lately.

701 - When you were in Minnesota, if I could have reached through the screen and strangled you, I might have done so. I prefer to build back out and I wanted to lock you down from the start and work from there as a goalie can steal games and you had one of the best at the time.

That time I think caused the rift between us, as we did not get along well after. I suspect I may have stolen the CoGM position from you there when I came in and if I did, I am sorry, I wasn't aware of it. Anyway, I appreciate the hell out of the advice you gave me on sig making with the lighting, I have started to incorporate it in my signatures and it has made them look sooooo much better.

Also, you being a wrestling fan frustrates me, had I known prior I am sure things would have gone differently in Minny as I could chat endlessly on the topic. Good luck in Buffalo, you should excel there.

NateyD - I only have known you as GM of the Dragons even though you haven't been for a long time. To me you have always been D'Angelo and because I have not spoken to you in about 15 seasons, that is who you still are in my mind. Back then, I thought you were a bit of a dick but lately I don't, not sure what changed but it is nice. Good luck with Wolff.

Kinsler - I have a strong suspicion you are a former member of this site who came back under another name. I can't explain why but your posts give me a familiarity and I gave up looking at old member names a long time ago trying to figure out who you remind me of. Your player had an amazing season for a two way player, effective in all situations and if not for McDavid being in the way would have had a strong case for the Dar. With the exodus in Texas, that puts you at the forefront. You'll turn into a star now, good luck.

Wadester - I do not know you at all, you went inactive right around the time I came back but I know the reasons behind that and I offer my deepest condolences. I was truly sorry to hear that and hope you take the needed time to heal from it. The thought scares the hell out of me and I hope it won't happen anytime soon but I suspect it will in the next few years. I doubt you will ever read this but if a teammate would point it out upon your return I would appreciate it.

bbp - Daigle, my god how you originally lived up to your name sake. All those long seasons we spent together haha, If I recall correctly you are a Canadian dude and are a Habs fan as well, so youve got that going for you which is nice.

Deener - Never got to know you at all, but love what you do around and for the league. You seem like a driven guy and at the helm of a franchise that you said yourself needs a makeover, I have complete faith in you doing so. It has already begun, slowly but surely.

As a player, Horvat is taking off and looks to be a star for years, with the cast you have behind you and around you, I see success for the Renegades despite the exodus. You stockpiled draft picks insanely for the next two drafts and I see you guys being back in full contention around Season 28, maybe 29 if things go more poorly then you expect. Cashing in depreciating assets for future value, definitely your game and one you know well.

Fourfour - Whew, um, well...Lately we have gotten along pretty well. You are heading to school for whatever it is you chose your life to take and I completely respect that decision and wish you the best of luck with it.

Gibbon - Have you retired yet? God, you are so old it isn't funny and it's astounding that I believe I was the one to draft you way back then. I do not recall if we were still in Vancouver or had moved on to Vegas at that point. I think Vegas, because we had you in that cage in the LR and had to get someone a rabies shot after they got too near. God that LR was hilarious. We converted your cage to a lobster tank for Dueys lobster after you departed. It took up half the locker room and the thing was only a few inches long. I think I ate it and locked Duey in there for a bit, details are hazy though. What happens in Vegas is usually a drug and alcohol fueled adventure, so remembering it is difficult. Retire damnit, so I know how long I have to play to take that record.

Velevra - I know you only from IIHF simming and that's about it. Not sure I spoke with you before that or much since. Sorry about that really, you seem like a good dude. I wish people took more interest in IIHF as your work goes really unappreciated and unnoticed. I had an idea about something that could improve the IIHF a bit or at least spark some activity.

Jme - Don't know you too well, anytime I have interacted has been pretty standoffish, so nowadays I tend to avoid to prevent unneeded drama. Don't have anything against you or anything as I truthfully don't know you at all. Your new player name is interesting to say the least and Valentine was a stud defensemen at times. Will be interesting to see how this turns out and would be funny as shit to see that name being announced for awards, good luck.

Shevy Shev - I have had five rookies ask me what your problem with me is, I don't have a clue, so that's what I tell them.

Panda - I have mixed you up with another poster for the longest time now, I wonder why that is? Perhaps I should ask a pirate for an "R"...That was terrible but yeah, you and Pandar I keep mixing up and confusing. You are both people I like which is great, that way I don't say nice things about an arse and bad things about a nice person. Leafs is a great GM, you will do well there.
Mesbonk - The word bonk, reminds me of 60's batman, ZAP, BIFF, DOINK! IIRC your avatar is George Steele? I think that makes you a wrestling fan or at least knowledgable about it. Thats pretty awesome if so, my favorite is The Rock. Man could cut a promo like few before or since.

Rdwingsrdabest - Not often do people make typos in their usernames and leave it alone. I don't know how you managed to screw up Habs that much but you seem to have done so. Anywho, I see you around the league a bit and from what I can tell is that you will be a strong member for this league for many season. I am damn good with my gut feelings when it comes to rookies and I got that about you.

Leafs4ever - The classiest dude on the site. The longest tenured GM on the site and is so much a fan of the Leafs that he decided to found the Winnipeg Jets...wait...what? I have never asked why your name is that and you founded the Jets and I am not sure if I wnat to know now since I would then know the truth and I am not sure I could handle the truth.

Your players end up hall of famers, you are a quieter GM who I believe only speaks out if its worth speaking about. Thats a quality I admire because it is opposite of myself, I will talk about any and everything as evidenced by my post count here.

I have expressed desire to play in Winnipeg before, with my next player I would be quite happy if that were to happen. I'd like to make a journey around the league because if you have read some writeups there are people I know nothing about at all and I want to change that. Wouldn't mind starting in Winnipeg, which is kinda funny when you think about it as it could be 20-30 seasons off and you might still be GM...

OriginsZ -MYERS! YOU NEED A CUP! I feel bad buddy, you have been here a looooong time as well and have been unable to get it together with your teammates and hoist that bastard. Where you are now, you have probably one of the strongest chances in your tenure here. A good player, a great GM and finally an great ACTIVE supporting cast. I have not talked to you much at all lately, that makes me kinda sad now that I think about it.

Satan - OH EVIL ONE! Howdy! I pushed hard so you know to draft you but like most people I want to draft and think might slip a bit they don't, another GM scoops them up and they go on to be amazing members and players. Hmm, just realized that everyone I have wanted and was taken, was taken by GoB or L4E up until this season. Damn them both! Damn them all to your home!

Elyk - :( I still think we paid too high a price for Kovy because while the Cup is nice, I miss having you around. You were a great teammate in Prince George and I pushed hard to have you drafted as well because I knew you would end up the steal of that draft. Somehow you flew under everyones radar and dropped to the third round when you easily should have been a 1st (maybe second, was deep draft) and when we managed to pick you I was estatic.

Now you are in Winterpeg, having loads of success and I miss having you around. Post in Firebirds chat more damnit!

BuddyCheque - I am sorry but I do not know you very well at all. I assume like the rest of your team you are a classly mofo and we will just leave it at that.

JackCross - The backbone of this league. Go ahead blush, deny, be embarassed, this place functions because of you. Your rigid schedule for simming, the consistentcy in which you do it and the minimal errors you make given an overwhelmingly massive fucking pile of work is astounding and to your credit as I assume a perfectionist? You seem to like making sure things are done correctly and I admire that greatly. You seem to like the limericks and stuff I post in the threads when we are waiting for you to sim. Just pops into my head and I put fingers to keyboard. I will try to make one a day this season if I remember.

And I got made fun of for it but yeah, I have an alarm set for sim time. Even in the offseason it is 3pm EST. I was a miserable self loathing fuck this time last year and I got through it by sleeping. Apparently some eat, some sleep, some look for something to get through. I slept a lot but always wanted to be awake at sim time. That small little thing is what caused me to look forward to the next day because looking at almost three months was just too disheartening to think about.

You make HOF players, Ono will be in for sure. So I will close with this.

Jamers87 - BOTH! My god you are underrated. I had this discusssion with someone and on every team we choose someone who was the most underrated and that was you. You have a great player who is consistent but I don't see you make many posts so it largely goes a bit unnoticed. That is crappy, you should post more.

Skipper - Here on Gilligans ISLAAAAAAND. Ha, someone I don't know too well and wish I knew more. Don't see you much around the league and If I have, I do not recall off the top of my head what it was about. You like you Jamers should post more.

Prikulus - One of the best goalies in the league and one of the longest serving. I rarely ever hear from you as you seem rather quiet and into the LR more then the rest of the site. unfortunate as I am curious what you are like but have little to go on.

MCJesus - Second to Deezy, I think you have played for the most teams? I could have that wrong but now you are on Winnipeg. No idea how much longer you will play but I feel when you do I might get a decent shot at the Dar. McDavid went insane this season and you walked away with it. That'll change really soon I hope as I am after that trophy myself. Having modeled my player a bit after Dar, it would be only fitting to win the award named after him sometime in my career.

You seem like a decent dude, I haven't gotten to speak to you anywhere as I don't think we have every shared an LR. Also, your Oilers fanboyism is funny and a little over the top sometimes but you aren't as dick about it. Taylor McDavid from Jordan Hall is a bit much but hell man, you got the money to spend.
