I claimed 8 milestones this season (and could, theoretically, end up with more based on East Champions/Challenge Cup/Awards)... if that was made uncapped, it would far outweigh the TPE I'd lose from no longer being able to do TTC.

We'd essentially be rewarding the people who, debatably, need it the least (as they already obviously have solid builds, should they be in a position to claim a whole bunch of milestones).

I recognize that not everyone is able to claim that much, but I think it's something to keep in mind if the discussion is whether to make milestones uncapped.

It might be a sign of the impending apocalypse, but I actually the idea McZ mentioned of having milestones actually be .. career milestones, rather than a season-by-season thing. You hit 150 goals in your career? Have some TPE. You're a goalie who just hit 100 wins? TPE. A defenseman who just passed 300 SB? Rub some free TPE on those bruises. There would need to be a lot of thought put into what cutoffs are attainable while not leading to ridiculous amounts of TPE being given away, but I think it fits more with the idea of what milestones are.
