Ranking Goaltenders
Legacy Scores

I think it's unfair to weight cups that highly. Some of the best players in sports have never reached the goal of taking the championship. Winning a cup is the ultimate team achievement.
I think playoffs and cups should count ultimately towards the ranking of players. But I don't think they should be weighted as heavily as personal achievements. I know some will argue that everything a goaltender does is a team achievement. But when you have a guy facing 25 shots on average and winning a cup against a guy who faces an average of 35 shots and comes up short in the previous round. I can't exactly say the best goalie won the cup. ![]() ![]() |
