Hell, the typical worst period of activity that I see is around 20-40 games. That middle of the season is hell because you have one PT, you can do media but few do that, and that's about it. That's when people start disappearing because they're just flat out bored as hell. With this, we'd elongate that period, make it 30-60 that they're feeling bored and that's a good two weeks of it rather than one week.

While seeing your player play is very much the focus, it's also not everyone's favorite thing. If you're on a bad team, you're likely going to give up during the season. We make the bad teams long ass seasons longer and more players leave. We make the season longer for the good teams who are just pummeling a bunch of bad ones, and what do they care at a certain point?

Not to mention how boring it would be to play the same damn team over and over and over. You play the same team constantly, and then you make the playoffs and the only teams that made it were the good ones and so they've been the only half decent games, but you've played them 8 times already and now you have a 7 game series? I get it, we want rivalries, this isn't going to make them. It'll make people bored of facing the same damn people who aren't vitriolic at each other. You want rivalries? Let people call each other anything and get at each other with everything. Playing the same teams just makes you bored of playing the same teams.

It's a boring set-up that is counterproductive to our goal of maintaining membership, in my opinion.
