On the ice Roman Augustus is a towering two way defenseman with a nack for getting points but off the ice Roman likes to spend his time doing more scholarly things. While many players would rather be relaxing or at least studying game tape Roman spends his time studying history. History just so happens to be Roman's greatest passion, outside of hockey of course, and if Roman isn't on the ice scoring goals he has a history book in his face learning as much as he can. Roman's favorite history just so happens to be American history, a fitting subject for one of the United States highest rated up and coming prospects. While any American history is fine by Roman he especially loves war history involving the United States. Roman has taken many classes on World War 1 and World War 2 as well as the American Civil War and while he would never consider himself a top student in these classes his enthusiasm for the course can not be matched. This enthusiasm also carries over to his hockey love as theres nothing he would rather be doing in the world. So while Roman might not always be getting A's on his grade sheet he will be putting up A's on the stat sheet for the St. Louis Scarecrows this season.
