The Scarecrows’ biggest rival is themselves. We have the talent, we have the leadership. The Crows just don’t have the consistency. Tigole Bitties is noticing on a daily basis that some days the Crows are motivated pregame, during the game, and postgame, and some nights they’re just going through the motions. He’s determined to change that.

Tigole trains hard on a game against a SMJHL rival. He wakes up, makes a spinach and egg-white scramble, and jumps on the bike for an hour to get the cardio going. He then takes an hour nap and wakes up to head to the rink. He meets up with the remainder of the team at the rink. At the arena, he jumps back on the bike for another 45 minutes to keep the blood pumping. He joins the rest of the squad to play some soccer in the hallway, deftly bouncing the ball from his foot, shoulder, head and back over to the well-sculpted physique of Crossfit Jesus.

His team might not be ready every night, but Tigole Bitties will be. It’s a safe bet that his third line will dominate possession and he’ll be winning the majority of the draws at the faceoff dot. It’s all he can do to battle the Crows biggest rival – consistency.
