With no access to the stats where I am, I will be spouting bullshit about how i read the Mammoths are doing from the other Mammoth PT


The Mammoths had one of the best starts to the season, dominating the #1 positon. The lines all have great chemistry, and were backed up by the top goaltender in the league, Aleksandr Aleksandrov. Apparently he got called up and that screwed us pretty hard. Sure, we have a backup goaltender, but with more of a focus needed on defensive play, it creates a challenge continuing the strong offensive game the Mammoths had as supporting their goaltender is now a larger priority.

Missing playoffs is now becoming more of a reality as the Mammoths progress into the later part of the season, and need to light a fire under their ass to ensure they make it into the post-season action, where anything can happen because STHS fucks shit up.

Defensemen Kruger and Creller really need to figure their chemistry out, taking the physical presence of Creller and putting more numbers on the offensive side, while making sure Kruger gets back after pushing offensively to support their now starting goaltender.

Depth may be more of an issue with the Mammoths now, so ensuring the minutes are evenly spread out so they can play a full 60 minute game and not fall apart in the late periods will be key, everyone needs to step their game up.
