My Three Candidates for the Raymond Lindsay. The most coveted individual award in the league are forward Crossfit Jesus from the St.Louis Scarecrows, Defenseman Finn Kruger from the Colorado Mammoths and Defenseman Shoyu Kikkoman from the Vancouver Whalers.These three candidates are number one, three and four in overall league scoring. Crossfit Jesus has been a beast this season recording a league leading 42 points in 41 games thus far. He has also scored 22 goals which is the most in the league by three. He is an elite offensive talent in the SMJHL. Next up would be Defenseman Finn Krüger from Colorado. He is putting up elite offensive number while being a defenseman and also playing really well defensively with 45 shot blocks and 21 hits. Krüger does it all on the ice making him a valuable player. Lastly defenseman Shoyu Kikkoman from the Whalers is also putting up excellent offensive numbers for the Whalers, although not as good as Kruger but close, while also being a rock defensively. He has a large lead in hits on Kruger, but Kruger has more shots blocked. One could argue Kikkoman has been more impressive this season than Kruger based on the defensive ability he has shown.
