There should only be one candidate for MVP and he's a real monster. Crossfit Jesus has been tearing up the SMJHL since he was a rookie. This season has been more of the same. He often says that this season "I only came back to win the cup." Even though the Scarecrows have had their ups and downs and that Jesus is now assistant captain (Louie Garrett is now captain), he's tied for the most points on the team with 42 with Matthew Auston. He leads the Crows in goals (20) and plus/minus (+20) as well. Jesus also averages a point per game. Many people think that Crossfit Jesus deserves the MVP award, including myself, for many reasons, one of which being the fact that he's a great teammate and motivator. Other reasons include that he's a hard worker who trains hard and often, he's a talented player who is a great scorer and defender, and that he has a clean public image. Crossfit is known off the ice as a charitable guy who runs the Crossfit Jesus Foundation and is known to spend time with his teammates. All in all, Crossfit Jesus is a great player who deserves to win the MVP award for this season.
