The first candidate is a forward playing for the Saint-Louis Scarecrows. With more than a point per game,
Matthew Auston is currently leading the league with 15 goals and 30 assists for a total of 45 points. He’s also a really strong presence on the ice and having +22 in the +/- differential. He’s also a really disciplined player, only having receive 4 minutes in the sin bin.
The second candidate is the Vancouver Whalers starting goaltender. He’s currently sitting with 5 wins more than any other goaltender;
Carrick Murray is a wall. He has a save percentage of 0.913 and a goal against average of 2.03. He faced a total of 887 shots this season and was outplayed only 77 times. During his 39 matches played, he managed to stay perfect in six of them.
The last nominee is a defenseman playing for the Colorado Mammoths. He was a juggernaut for his team by playing by average 22 minutes a night.
Finn Krüger also posted more than a point per game this season, with a current total of 44 in 43 matches. In those points, 15 were goals and 29 were assists. He spent a total of half a game into the penalty box so far, this season. He blocked a total of 49 shots with his body.
