Task 1:
Take Jay Bae and insert her on the Colorado Mammoths. The Mammoths got absolutely destroyed in sweeping fashion strongly due to the play of Aleksandr Aleksandrov who had an abysmal .872 SV% and 3.47 GAA. Sure, the team didn't show up that much either, but the goalie had the worst stats in the playoffs and couldn't even keep the team in there for one game. Now you take Jay Bae, rookie sensation for the Kelowna Knights who missed the playoffs, had an unbelievable season as the 2nd best goalie in the league with a .897 SV% and 2.43 GAA and the Mammoths probably have a chance at not only winning a few games, but maybe even stealing the series. The offense would have had to step up as well, but if you have a goalie making big saves all game long, it gives the team momentum to score more goals and I think COL would have had a chance at winning the series with Jay Bae in net. Task 2: ![]() Task 3: Jay Bae has hired a marketing team constantly spreading around the famous hashtag #JayBae1OA. It has already begun to work as teams that are picking high have been contacting Jay Bae with interest. Not only that, but Jay Bae has now pulled ahead in TPE to be the leader for the draft class. She was unable to show what she has in the playoffs because her team didn't qualify but between the marketing and the strong upkeep of getting better, there is no way that GMs are not noticing the blue chip prospect she is. JAY BAE FIRST OVERALL OR ELSE! #JayBae1OA Task 4: ![]() Task 5: Halifax went into game 6 needing a win being down 3-2 in the series and force it to a game 7. They stayed strong after an explosion of offense in the first period which saw both teams tied at 3 goals a piece. After the second period was a hard fought defensive battle, with neither team wanting to give the other a chance at going ahead, they went into the third period still tied at 3. The turning point of the game though was how frustrated the Raiders became in that third period. They weren't able to muster any offense and were getting pummeled in their own end. For the whole period, they got outshot 24-4! Which is just absolutely insane for teams that were tied through two periods of play. This frustration led to Halifax taking stupid penalties which ultimately led to their demise. The Whalers scored two powerplay goals within a couple minutes and that was enough to capture their back to back Four Stars Cup titles. |
