Code:
Task #1 -Write 200 words or make a graphic highlighting any goalie matchup of the series.
Written must include 3 stats, either from playoffs or the regular season.
Graphic must include both goalie renders and both team logos.

I thought we'd do a matchup between the goalies in the finals, MilitiaBeaujeaux BiscuitMilitia and FalconsEvgueni MarmeladovFalcons. SMJHL is a league where goalies get's pushed down and there are a lot of goals scored, so their stats may not look so impressive, so that's where we need to compare them to each other!

SV%

Marmeladov lead the playoffs in SV% with .901, where his counterpart in Biscuit ended last with .866. As mentioned earlier, these stats does not look very good, as the top goalies in the SHL are usually up around .920. Not much to say about this though, it's pretty straight forward.

Goals Against Average

In the Goals Against Average category, none of the goalies did that great, both of them were the only ones above 3 goals per game. Biscuit loses this battle too though because he had almost .5 goals more against him per game.

Shutouts

Shutouts is maybe the stat that stands out most for a goalie. Even though it highly depends on what shots the team let through, it is still an impressive feat. In this category, only one of the goalies were noted on this leaderboard, and it was Marmeladov, who earned 2 in 11 games. Biscuit had 6 more games played but still couldn't get it done.

Marmeladov clearly played better throughout the playoffs, and is for sure the best goalie of the playoffs in my opinion.

Code:
Task #2 - Make a case for who you think deserves to win Playoff MVP.
Requirements: At least 150 words and a minimum of 2 stats.

I'm going to be boring and do like probably everyone else and put my vote on Detroit Falcons Vijanupatan Singh for this. The right winger ended up with 6 goals, 9 assists for a total of 15 points in 11 games, this put's him at 1,23 points per 20. 2 game winners is also a nice feather in the hat. He was over 50% in faceoffs too.

My other options would be Montreal Militias Inari Twain. He had 22 points, 11 goals and 11 assists in 17 games(1,14 per 20). 2 game winners as well, and a couple more hits and blocked shots. If Montreal would've won this series i would for sure give it to him, but as Detroit won, i'm goign to have to give it to Singh.

One could also argue that Evgueni Marmeladov could be a candidate, He lead the team to greatness with some good looking stats(smjhl wise), those shutouts looks really good compared to the other goalies too, so he could definitely be a dark horse.

Code:
Task #3 - Write a goals highlight play by play for one series winning game, or make an infographic featuring stats from a series winning game.
Requirements: At least 200 words for written / at least 4 stats featured in at least 2 different ways for graphics (bar graphs, pie graphs, list of names, etc)

Welcome back to this exciting game 4 between Detroit and Montreal! It can all be decided here in OT in the finals as Detroit is already up 3-0 in the series! Will Detroit take home the Four Star Cup?

AND VILLY IS OUT OF THE BOX! Detroit killed of the penalty and is back to 5 men! Montreal had a great shot to end it right there but could not get it done on the powerplay, but this is no time for Detroit to get cocky, as Montreal is still in their zone. They have a good play going on,

Berezin gets a shot off, But Villy who just got back in the zone blocks it! It gets picked up by Tatu Mäkelä, the 1st overall pick of the draft for Detroit. He passes it to the person that went next in the draft, Connor Blackwell! God that's good to see the two top picks playing good!

Blackwell moves it up the ice, into the Montreal zone, And we get some passes between him, Villy and Jurgis Bulota. Bulota shooots!!! And Biscuit holds on to it for a stoppage of play!

Singh faces off against Snipez.... And wins it for Detroit! It gets picked up by Timmy Barlow, who passes it to brother Tommy Barlow. Tommy can't handle the pass though and loses it! However it gets picked up by teammate Quick Mafs. He passes it to Singh... To Villy, To Tommy, Back to Singh, Sing shoots... Timmy Barlow deflects it! TIMMY BARLOW SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORES!!!!! THIS IS IT, DETROIT FALCONS HAS SWEPT THE MONTREAL MILITIA TO WIN THE FOUR STAR CUP!!!

Code:
Task #4 - Come up with a playoff slogan for your team and a hashtag for three players on the team.

"Oh Whale, We can't win every year."

#GottaLoveTheDude!
#NotTheWrongWong
#DickSkills

Code:
Task #5 - Make a top 5 list for the finals. Top 5 goals, top 5 players, top 5 noteworthy people in the audience for one of the games, whatever you want. No word count, but if you just list 5 names, you won't get the full 2 tpe. Be a little creative.

It's Game 4 here in Montreal and the Militia is up against the wall, they're down 3-0 in the series and has to get it done here or else they will have to feel the shame of being swept!

We have some interesting people in the audience, One of them being Justin Trudeau! "Oh i sure hope Montreal can get this done eh, It would be a shame to see a canadian team lose."

NHL goalie legend Martin Brodeur has also been spotted, rumour has it that he is scouting Biscuit, whom he thinks could take the NHL route instead of going to the SHL.

Former SHL goalie Robert Andersson is here too! He played for the Montreal Impact back before the re-brand. "I'm just here to see Detroit beat the crap out of these filthy Militias. Vive le Impact."

And here's Thomas Magnum himself! Tom Selleck has been spotted in the audience! The Magnum P.I legend is a well known Detroit fan and has a suite in the Falcons arena!

Let's see if we can find someone else...

wait...

is that?
