Task #1 -
The goalie series in which I chose was that of the Montreal Militia against the Colorado Mammoths. This series went the distance of 7 games with the Militia pulling out the Game 7 victory. The matchup for this series in goal was that of Aleksandr Aleksandrov of the Colorado Mammoths going up against Beaujeaux Biscuit of the Montreal Militia. Aleksandr Aleksandrov had a reasonably good series as he was 3-3-1 with a 2.82 goals against average and .897 save percentage. He also let up 20 goals against on 194 shots. This was a reasonable performance that kept the Colorado Mammoths in the series especially coming back from a 3-1 series deficit. Beaujeaux Biscuit on the other side of the ice had a 3.14 Goals against average in the series including giving up 7 goals in Game 2 against the Mammoths. Other than that, he consistently gave up 3 goals throughout the series. He gave up 22 goals in the series. In the playoffs, Beaujeaux Biscuit was 8-7-2 with a 3.47 Goals against average and .866 Save percentage. When looking at that, you can see that Aleksandr Aleksandrov had a better series and playoffs even though the Mammoths were eliminated in the first round. Quote:Words: 203 Task #2 - For the Playoffs MVP, I would have to choose Inari Twain of the Montreal Militia. When you look at what Inari Twain did in this playoffs, it truly is a great performance. He had 11 goals, 11 assists in 17 games for the Militia for a total of 22 points. In addition, he was a +3 to show that he was making an impact on the ice whenever he was out there. He had 24 hits, 58 shots which is almost 19% shot percentage. Just to add to it, 8 shot blocks which shows that he was an impact on all sides of the ice. Find another guy that had something like this, that is right, you cannot do that. He was out there for almost 23 minutes a game which I would not blame the Militia for doing. He also had 2 Game Winning goals. Is there something that Inari Twain did not do in the playoffs? I am really not sure how you try to have anyone else get it other than this guy. There was no one even close to Inari Twain in points as he was 6 points above the next person. He also led the playoffs in goals, assists, and points. Inari Twain, go claim your trophy, you deserve it. Quote:Words: 215 Task #3 - Here we are in Overtime of Game 7 between the Montreal Militia and the Colorado Mammoths. These two have had a fantastic series and it will come down to the next goal. Here we are in the Montreal Militia as there is a faceoff between Finn Larsson and Inari Twain. The puck is dropped as Finn Larsson wins the face-off against Inari Twain. The puck gets sent back to Wolf Von Hammersmark. Wolf Von Hammersmark quickly shoots off the draw... MISSES THE NET! It went just wide of the Militia net. The puck ends up in the corner as Connor Tanner picks up the puck. Inari Twain jets up the center of the zone for the break out as Tanner finds him! Twain then finds Jack Tanner as they make their way into the Colorado Mammoths zone. Tanner does a drop pass to Inari Twain who spots Alexander McKinley driving to the net! Tanner passes the puck cross ice... Alexander McKinley gets on the other side!! Aleksandr Aleksandrov sprawls over to try to make the save... THE PUCK IS IN! MONTREAL MILITIA WIN IN GAME 7!!! Alexander McKinley wins it for the Militia in Overtime. The Militia go crazy as they rush the ice and pile on the top of Alexander McKinley.
