The Raiders’ top three scoring forwards are Bar Downski, Yannick Berger and Kevin Hamilton, with eighteen, twenty and twenty one points each. However, for the Raiders, the buck stops at defenseman Lukas Muller, who leads the team with thirty one points and is third on the team with seven goals. In a season mired in the SMJHL’s basement, Muller has been a rare bright spot. Muller is the team’s leader in powerplay points, ice time, blocked shots, He also had the distinct of being one of only two players on the roster with a positive plus/minus, albeit only +1. At this rate it seems like if the coaches would let him, he’d lead the team in faceoffs.

Not unexpectedly, Muller being a defenseman, he is the lowest scoring leading scorer in the league. Also unsurprising, with the Raiders’ struggles directing shots on net, he is only fourth in scoring among defensemen. In ice time per game he is second only to Vancouver’s Shaun Stephens. He is fourth in shot blocking, but none of the players ranked ahead of him are closer to his scoring total than ten points, which is an excellent testimony to Muller’s versatility as a player. Uncharacteristically, he only ranks tenth among defensemen with 49 shots.
