Montreal Militia is now one of the top performing teams in the SMJHL in the third place, just five points away from the League Leaders - Detroit Falcons and Prince George Firebirds. Their success obviously is contributed to a very good production from their players.

For example their leading player Connor Tanner who is both the leading goalscorer and assister in the league has 43 points in all games, 17 of them goals and 26 as assists. That makes him one of the best players in SMJHL - 6th best goalscorer (4 goals from the leader Dionyz Vyskoč), 5th best assistant (4 assists from the leader Paddy Kane-Reilly). Also Connor is the best defender in the league and the third best player overall by points as he trails Paddy Kane-Reilly, the superstar forward from Prince George, only by 5 points.

They also have an amazing goalkeeper - Cedric Moreau who is currently on an unbelievable 90.0% save percentage and is quite possibly one of the best rookies this season has seen. Overall Cedric and Connor will be the main factors in determining with how far Montreal is to go this season, but undoubtedly they have only improved through the weeks and we'll just have to see what they bring in play-offs.
