![]() Moderators PEANUT! Code: 1. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.) Being a young goalie on what many consider to be a "mediocre" team definitely has its challenges. I've continued to push myself in pursuit of getting to that "elite" goalie status, regardless of where I'm located. Overall, I would say my performance improved this season compared to last. My goals against average dropped, my save percentage increased and even more so...one point that I'm particularly proud of, my breakaway (and shootout) saves improved dramatically. Also, even though we were eliminated early and ferociously by Chicago, we made the playoffs. To me, it doesn't matter if people believe that is because of the new playoff format or by earning it via points...we still made it and for that I am immensely proud. I hope I can help backstop us to another playoff visit in Season 57. One thing I know I'll continue working on in the off-season in preparation for Season 57 is dropping some more weight. I'm still on the heavier side for a goalie, and my age definitely isn't helping, so if I can continue to drop weight and increase my agility in the crease, I think I'll have it made. Code: 4.
