Reflection on your season - how did your player fare on the ice this season? Did you meet or surpass your individual player goals or did you come up short? Whether you excelled or disappointed - what can you attribute that to? What will you try to do better next season?

Being a young goalie on what many consider to be a "mediocre" team definitely has its challenges. I've continued to push myself in pursuit of getting to that "elite" goalie status, regardless of where I'm located. Overall, I would say my performance improved this season compared to last. My goals against average dropped, my save percentage increased and even more so...one point that I'm particularly proud of, my breakaway (and shootout) saves improved dramatically. Also, even though we were eliminated early and ferociously by Chicago, we made the playoffs. To me, it doesn't matter if people believe that is because of the new playoff format or by earning it via points...we still made it and for that I am immensely proud. I hope I can help backstop us to another playoff visit in Season 57. One thing I know I'll continue working on in the off-season in preparation for Season 57 is dropping some more weight. I'm still on the heavier side for a goalie, and my age definitely isn't helping, so if I can continue to drop weight and increase my agility in the crease, I think I'll have it made.

If the SHL needed to set up a playoff bubble (like the NHL did in Edmonton/Toronto or the NBA in Orlando), which city would be the best candidate to host as the hub city? What would the players do during their time in a playoff bubble? (For graphic option, make an advertisement [like a pamphlet/brochure] in support of a specific city as the hub city and highlighting the reasons why.)

The best city for the SHL to set up a playoff bubble location in would be, in my opinion, Seattle. Why Seattle you ask? Well, the reasoning behind this is two-fold. First off, Washington State ranks near the bottom of all 50 United States in COVID-19 infections (44th out of 50 with ranking based on most infections per 100,000 people) and secondly, with the Argonauts being a new expansion team it could help give a boost to the local economy and help bolster the team. When not playing on the ice, as long as social distancing and hygiene requirements met, the players can enjoy visiting places like Mt. Rainier, or taking a bay cruise to see the local aquatic life. If visiting the relaxing outdoors doesn't suit their fancy, they could also visit places like the Museum of Flight, or sit back in their dorms and enjoy any combination of the fantastic cuisine that Seattle (and by proxy the Pacific Northwest) has to offer them.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

I believe Minnesota was the best team to not make the SHL finals this season. Throughout the season, the improvement of each player on their team, plus a couple solid trades bolstered their goal scoring ability to match up their incredible defense and goaltending. I believe that if they would have had those improvements earlier on in the season, they would have definitely given Winnipeg a run for their money for 3rd in their division and may have had an even better fairing in the 1st round against Chicago than Winnipeg did. With that being said, I think in Season 57 they will be a breakout team to start keeping an eye on for a playoff run.
