Given that im not an Atlanta falcons fan I don’t mind playing with the lead. I would say the scariest moment is when you’re in a tie game because you don’t have any cushion and every single play get some sort of reaction and you’re trying to calculate all the possibilities. Your expectations are to win but you don’t have anything to cushion the blow.

When you’re one behind you’re already losing and you can accept defeat. Its terrible but it’s a realistic outcome and one you can expect when you don’t have a lead and the game continues to move forwards.

When you’re ahead you hope not to blow a lead but at the same time you have the lead and you’d much rather not be playing from behind or tied. You have the cushion and it wont stress you at as much as when losing is a real possibility or any play can make you lose at any second.
