Opening night obviously needs a special presentation of the roster players before the game. It also needs all kinds of special events, like a free shirt on the seats for all fans, or free bobble heads of a specific player. It would also be cool to throw in stuff like crazy lights and fire inside of the arena, and fireworks outside of the arena, to let everyone both inside and outside how special the opening night is. It would also be fun to try to invite some local celebrities to the game, and maybe branch out and bring in some nationally loved celebrities. And of course those guests need to be advertised on the jumbotron, to let everyone know they are in elite company. Bring back some former Platoon players for the event too, really go for some of the franchise legends. Seeing local celebrities, and living Platoon legends would make for a very special opening night for this new arena.
