16. I hope the SHL scouts read this because I'm going all out baby. I want to hit 2k TPE on another player, and I believe it should be a lot easier this time around than it was 5 years ago when I started this journey. 2k TPE is the baseline for this player, I don't see a way for me to not reach it, especially considering I'm sitting on 113 millions that will set this player for life so I won't have any issues with training whatsoever. The second easiest goal to reach would be 1k played games. That would be a little over 15 seasons in the league. My first player played exactly 15 seasons in the SHL but unfortunately played through various changes in the league and so only his 6 last seasons were played at 66 games a season. This time around, things seem more stable so I believe I could play for another 15 seasons at 66 games a season to reach my goal. The ultimate games played goal would be to be the last player standing of my draft class. This is something that I had wanted to do with my original player but life got in the way. Ultimately the burnout due to simming derailed my plans but I believe that since I no longer have to sim, I can reach these 2 goals. However, I have more in mind for this recreate. While not reaching the above goals would probably mean a failure in my mind, the latter goals are out of my control but I will do my best to reach them. A second Hall of Fame caliber player on the backend would be something special. 1k points as a defenseman would be insane. As of this writing, 18 defensemen currently have 1k games played or more, and 5 more are within a season or 2 to reach the goal. The all time points leader on the backend has 973 points, so my goal to reach 1k points might be a tad too hard to reach... I remember Alonzo Garbanzo in the STHS days and he was a machine. Nobody in the FHM era comes close to him, so while the 1k games played goal is doable, there is probably no way for me to reach 1k points. Finally, I've recently been hired as the head portal data so that's one job that'll help me stay sustained in cash to buy all my training but as I said before, my bank will be plenty enough to max earn on this player. No need for me to look for sim jobs again 439 words
17. It's been nearly 4 years since I've had to do any tasks and championship weeks so I was a little apprehensive when I recreated, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy doing tasks again or not, considering I'm not very much a good writer but I was pleasantly surprised. I will say that I like that the SHL gives you two options when writing about a task but from glancing at theirs quickly, I found ours in the SMJHL to be easier to write about. Also the need to write to earn TPE kicked it pretty early on so I was always excited to see new tasks drop and find ways to write about them. I can't really talk about PT changes as I wasn't really aware that anything changed since it's been 5 years since I've been in the SMJHL but I've liked the experience so far. As for this Championship Week, well, again I can't really compare it to anything as I don't have any memories of doing CW in the SMJHL, but I'm writing this task first and looking at the various options to write about it's really encouraging and helpful for people that don't have inspiration like myself. Lots of various topics about our own players or teams. I don't know what it was previously but this makes CW less intimidating to write about in my opinion. I also really like that TPE earned scales as we write more about a specific task. Sometimes you really want to talk about a specific thing but the rules kind of limit you but I like this one. 269 words
