I feel like the season went well overall. Carolina had a ton of depth at every position, taking on a ton of draft picks, and really working to build the program through quantity. This means that the top-end talent was less plentiful, and minutes with those top scorers were hard to secure. While my unit produced a good amount of offense and shots, we failed miserably to protect our own zone, and that will be the primary goal for the upcoming season. We need to be suppressing any shots at all if we hope to outscore the opposition, especially if we're playing against higher TPE players. We had some movement internally with some players moving out of the lineup, and this has given players like Agate a shot at a larger role. With my build in place for the upcoming season, the team is hoping she can step into a role befitting of the icetime and TPe she is set to wield.
