During the offseason, Rodrigo Banes revels in the chance to spend time with fans. Although the interactions can get stressful, especially as emotions regularly run high in the height of the season, during downtime is when he finds the fans the most welcoming and eager to engage. He will always make time for random encounters, taking selfies and signing autographs wherever he runs into fans. During the regular season he is a little less public and giving with his time, and will spend more of his time focused on in-season things and limit his public appearances to more team-fronted events and outings. That being said, he always has time for his fans, even the ones who are convinced he is terrible and already a draft bust before playing a single game in the SHL. Of course, he gets recognized most often when he is out with his father, and the two of them often get stopped for photos as they walk/run/cycle the Vancouver seawall.
