Given his unique background of general isolationism up until he was an adolescent, Matthias gets a kick out of nearly every place he visits - Sam Diego, Edmonton, Saint Louis, Montréal, Quebec City, Winnipeg, New England, New Orleans - he has friends everywhere, and nothing is dull for him. Food, language, architecture, history, culture, films, idioms, roads, customs - he’s got a real thirst for all of it, and that’s gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion.
Whether that’s swimming in public fountains, joining boxing tournaments without registration, or just climbing really tall buildings for the fun of it, Matthias’ agents must be miracle-workers to keep him from getting blacklisted from any of the cities on the SHL circuit. He could certainly do worse - and while he does have a soft spot for his home, a life on the road, right along with his friends, suits him just fine
