Option 2: Nor does multiple things to help everyone to push in the right direction at the end of the season while we are making a last push to either make the playoffs or get ourselves in the best position possible for the upcoming playoffs. The first thing to do is to get the team together outside the rink. This can easily be done when they are on the road. Later in the season, the Forge holds a team dinner every time they get into another team city before 6 p.m. It helps to make sure everyone is pushing in the same direction without the pressure of being into the highly competitive environment that is found every time we are at the rink. It also helps everyone to get to know each other better outside of hockey, which particularly helps if the team has newcomers. Another thing Nor tries to do is reduce his shift time. It’s late into the season and there is more fatigue involved, if giving it all means spending 5 seconds less per shift on the ice, it's a sacrifice Nor is willing to make and he hopes his teammates follow.
