Short Prompts 2 - Are you kidding me? Maybe I'm a little biased being a part of Tampa, but look at our regular season compared to San Francisco. The Pride and their players have dominated the season and it has clearly converted into the playoffs. While with a bad record, Tampa bay has went against the top three teams in the regular season including the Forge and the Inferno, not to mention the New England Wolfpack's who have been playoffs menaces for multiple seasons. You could definitely argue that if the Barracuda were to be in the west, or vise versa with the Pride, it would be easier or harder to make it to the finals, however, I firmly believe that the Barracuda had the harder bracket. Maybe its because the Barracuda are bad, but they have shown more struggles than the Pride. For example, with down 3-1 in the Forge series the Barracuda have barely climbed back up to win. Furthermore, in the 3rd round, they faced against the Wolfpack who almost reverse swept them. While the Pride never went further than 6 games in their matchups. In terms of hardships and challenges, the San Francisco Pride had the easier road to the finals. (Also, Tampa Bay (11), Philadelphia (3), Atlanta (2), New England (8) is an average of 6 compared to San Francisco (1), Winnipeg (15), Seattle (5), New Orleans (6) of an average of 6.75) ---- (200 + words -> 4 TPE) 4 - Although the regressions, all teams require depth to reach it to the finals, and both the Barracuda and the Pride have that factor that led them to the finals. In my opinion, depth is the most important factor to success in the playoffs, and with the lower TPE forwards producing for the Barracuda, everyone is contributing which creates consistency and consistency creates success. (63 words --> 1 TPE) 3 + 4 + 1 = 8TPE |
