1. thanks (+3 TPE)
13. I predict that Finland will win gold this IIHF. We've got a strong team, that only continues to grow stronger. We've got a great forward and DEF core, the only thing potentially lacking may be our goalies in decline - although Rhett "Shaggy" Carpet remains a strong goalie, and goalies are truly voodoo in Franchise Hockey Manager. I think Finland has shown that we have what it takes to win, we've just gotten some bad seeding luck when it comes to single elimination games, and as such have underperformed the past few seasons. But I have faith in the process and believe we will win it this year. IIHF is very hard to predict though, and it really is anyone's tournament to win - from getting lucky bounces in single elimination to good seedings or favourable groups in round robin, anything can happen and it's truly hard to predict. All I can do is hope that we win gold for Seppanen's legacy. (159 words, +3 TPE) 12. I think the Atlanta Inferno hockey team of the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the Simulation Hockey League, otherwise known as the SHL, will do a good job at navigating the expansion draft process. This is very much a homer pick, but I truly think we've built something good here and are backed by a really competent GM capable of working with people. We also have a good roster, and it'll be sad to lose anyone, but I think we'll be able to navigate fine - whether through trades to fill gaps created or smart drafting and an even more motivated locker room, motivated to earn harder and to offset the impacts of the loss of our friends and teammates.
