Like generally I think that rule is one of the worst rules to be made for a very specific reason that doesn't happen often. Also think this is just a silly punishment for the rule. Sizz is a big part of Tampa Bay, losing a 1500 tpe forward and a 2nd round pick is such a steep punishment and it's a for fun league at end of the day. Especially when you have a contract agreed to in dms or Minny had their player on their budget. Like at the end of the day we are human and we make mistakes and as long as their was malicious intent these punishments should be appealed and waived completely.

Yes it's a hobby and a for fun league, and to keep that running it requires a ton of work from people, be it HO, simmers, the portal team, GMs, PT team, etc. The deadlines exist because not putting in your share of the work hurts everyone else who tries to keep this huge operation running smoothly. There's also co-GMs, coaches, and war rooms that help stay on top of all the deadlines.
