I would hate the thought of definitely eliminating teams without ever having talked to them, but I have to be honest both with myself and the league, There are a lot of teams whose chances are veeeeery slim and that isn't necessarily because there is something wrong with those teams, but just because I like others better. Of course I will still be happy to talk to everyone that contacts me, but I would feel terrible if someone made a big and well thought out pitch to me, while I have basically already eliminated his team in my head a long time ago. That's why I'm saying keep it short, let's just talk a little and don't get your hopes up too high. I mean the GMs around this league are smart, they know their own teams and they probably know me as well, if they think they don't have much of a chance, their instinct is probably right.
Right now there are I'd say four teams that I could see myself going to, with one pretty clear frontrunner. Of course one of those teams can swoop in and steal me away, but I wouldn't say that's too likely at the moment.
And yeah personal relationships are important to me. I'm always happy to meet new people and get to know them, but I'd prefer to have some people that I know and like on my team as well .
