It was early morning, the roosters where still asleep but in Hamiltown the steelponies were busy at work.



Today the Hamilexpres would bring the new resident. Major Mckeil and minister Schultz were helping the other residents. It was always difficult when new residents where coming. They only had one day to built new houses so it took all the hooves they could get. Even the young ones were helping out. Putting up decorations because tonight there would be reason to celebrate with the new arrivals

“There here, There here”: Brandon Cant had just spotted the Hamilexpres and shouted the news so everyone could hear.



The whole town started to gather at the station and the tension was rising…. Would these new ponies even fit in. One of the ponies was an old familiar but would the two years he had spend in another city have changed him? They hoped not cause they always were very fond of him and were very sad to see him go two years ago.
They wouldn’t have to wait long for their answer: He was the first to get off the train. He smelled the air and sighed. “it’s good to be back” said David Winter.
The entire crowd started cheering and stamping their hooves.

During all the cheering the next new resident got off the train unnoticed. He didn’t mind that. It gave him time to adjust and get a first glance at what his new home would be. He also felt a bit weird cause he had left his best friend behind. Lucky Winter was here as well so the transition would be easier.

“ Jareth, we are so happy that you chose Hamiltown as your new home. I’m sure you will love it here” said minister Schultz who had seen Jareth standing alone in a corner.

The crowd now saw that Jareth got off the train as well and they all wanted to talk and welcome him at the same time.

“ Calm down my fellow ponies, let them settle in first. You will all get the chance to talk to them later. And I believe there is still some work to be done” major Mckeil

The crowd nodded in agreement and all galloped away in different directions.

Major Mckeil and Minister Schultz showed their two newest residents around. The town had changed a bit since winter left but the spirit was still the same. People were friendly and always ready for a chat.

They arrived at a new part of town. Ponies where still painting the outside of the houses. Jareth could hardly believe his eyes. It was a charming little house with enough place for pets.



He also learned that minister Schultz would become his new neighbor. That way he would live close by in case the new residents would need anything.

“ It was that or me becoming your roommate” said minister Schultz.

“ This is perfect and I wouldn’t have mind having you as a roommate” said Jareth and Winter said it was the same for him.

In the distance they heard the bell of the clock tower.
“ Is it so late?” said major Mckeil. “ I will let you two unpack and explore your new houses. We will pick you up in two hours for the party”

Jareth and Winter went off to their new homes. Jareth immediately fell in love with his new house. He felt right at home. Before he knew it a soft knock sounded at the door.

It was already time to go. Brandon Cant was there to escort them to the townsquare where the festivities could begin. Jareth enjoyed his first evening in Hamiltown and is happy he chose to join the steelponies.

The next morning he wrote a letter to his best friend Willems to let him know that Hamiltown is magic.
