http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=27794 1st Edition Platoon and Chiefs http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=27795 2nd Edition Steelhawks and Wolfpack http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=27827 3rd Edition North Stars and Rage http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=28341 4th Edition Kings and Jets http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=28597 5th Edition Dragons and Blizzard http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=29005 6th Edition Panthers and Renegades. 1st Overall Best Prospect System Hamilton Steelhawks 6 great prospects make the Hawks plain and simple the best in the SHL right now they have a plethora of guys who could be number 1 on many teams lists. We will start with Ryan Haan the prospect who has since fallen he won't be a top line forward with this little dedication and will be hard pressed for playing time still a project top 6 forward in the SHL. Next up is Villimenties the GMs were quoted as saying he could be the best of them all well we disagree there no denying he's a top 6 two way forward in the making. Vittika and Schultz are next up both have the potential and skill to become top line players in the SHL for a long time as long as they keep there course that it. Next up is James Reimer a number 1 goalie with all the tools who may now play second fiddle to the best goalie in the SHL currently Heiss. Last but not least is Steven Jalopski the tough guy turned defensive defender is a projected top 4 defender with an outside shot at top 2 if he adds an offensive game to his tool bag. System Grade A 2nd Overall Best Prospect System West Kendall Platoon 5 prospect all with good upside are the team that will come in at 2nd place on our system rankings. Coming in first is Bauer who has switched to defense and projects to be a top 4 defender if he can work abit harder top 2 is not out of the question whatsoever. Next up is King Tut he projects to be the face of the Platoon franchise and a top line forward unless the unexpected can occur. The next 2 are interchangeable Winnfield and Anderson Winnfield projects as a number 1 goalie without a doubt aslong as he doesn't early retire and Anderson will project to be a top 6 forward again some question marks on work ethic. Last on the list is Bolt a player whose worked hard to climb back into respectability and will be a top 6 center if he stays this course which is great for the franchise. System Grade A- 3rd Overall Best Prospect System Los Angeles Panthers 4 good prospects and a bust are what we have coming in at number 3 here. The Panthers are lead by franchise forward Potcnzy who will be a top line forward for a long time to come and a franchise face. After that we have two top 4 defenders in OJ Simpson and Sergei Zherdev both could become top 2 or top 4 depending on how much dedication they show. Rounding out this list Morley who has shown the willingness to become a top 6 player in this league. The Panthers are a solid system 4 good prospects but depth comes in as the reason for number 3 System Grade B+ 4th Overall Best Prospect System New England Wolfpack 1 semi active a bust and 3 very good prospects are what you get when you look at the Wolfpack they are much like the Kings and are very close together. O'Callahan has the potential to be a top line winger and we don't expect he won't reach his potential. Winnifield is a top 2 and potential franchise player another player we don't expect to not reach his potential. Rounding out the list is Dujardin is another guy we expect will become a top 4 player or more if he can stay dedicated to the game abit more. System Grade B 5th Overall Best Prospect System Las Vegas Kings 2 busts 3 prospects all with high ceilings close system between 5-7 all can move up or down. The Kings are lead by Merica who has potential to be a top line winger in the SHL aslong as his attitude doesn't get him suspended. Buschsner would have been second on this list had his dedication been as it is now but regardless he's got the makings of a top 2 defender unless he goes away again. IEO round out the list and projects as a top 6 forward once was considered a can't miss prospect but has fallen abit so far. System Grade B 6th Overall Best Prospect System Texas Renegades Texas narrowly beats out the 7th spot here both are interchangeable depending on who you ask of course. The Rengades have top defender Rachvitikov and two very solid prospects in Eustace and Reinhart. Rachvitikov has all the makings a top defender well Reinhart is set at worst a top 6 forward. Eustace will be top 4 unless he fully shows no more dedication the Renegades have a solid top 3 after that the cupboards are bare for non busts. System Grade B- 7th Overall Best Prospect System Winnipeg Jets The Jets and the Renegades are interchangeable the reason they are lower overall is because of ther prospects ceilings. Smith, Kelly are very hit and miss prospects who could be top 6 guys or bottom 6 f they don't step up abit more. Barrett and Priskulis are top prospects in there positions Barett will be a top 6 forward if he can stay active and Priskulis is a potential franchise goalie. System Grade B- 8th Overall Best Prospect System Edmonton Blizzard 1 bust and 3 very solid prospects make this system 8th on our rankings. Beliel is very questionable right now he's on and off and talked of retirement early on. There two best prospects are between the pipes FourFour and Aittikillo both have the potential to be number one keepers but most likely one will have to be shipped out. The Blizzard have a solid system after this point but not as deep as other teams which is why they find themselves at 8th. System Grade C+ 9th Overall Best Prospect System Minnesota Chiefs 2 Busts 1 traded during the making of these lists and 2 potential good players line the Chiefs system. Katsu has the potential to become a top 6 Powerforward type if he stay his course if not hell be a great grinder type for championship teams. Bobrovsky projects to be a number 1 but could just as easily become nothing more than a back up if he doesn't show more dedication. System Grade C 10th Overall Best Prospect System Toronto North Stars The North Stars hold the 2nd worst system in the league Button is a slow developing prospect who could become a top 6 player in the near future. Followed up by Aalto a goalie who now projects to be a solid SHL back up was once seen as a great goalie prospect now has seemly gone quiet. After that we have Klein who is a plain and simple a bust. The 3rd extra prospect keeps them from being the worst system right now System Grade D+ 11th Overall Best Prospect System Calgary Dragons With only two prospects plain and simple the the worst system in the league the only thing keeper them from the bottom? The fact that one of there players could become a solid player if he busts however the Dragons system would be alot lower grade wise so far he's on route to a top 6 forward. The other guy if he shows dedication once again could too become a top 6 guy however right now he's nothing more than a depth piece. System Grade D 12th Overall Best Prospect System Manhattan Rage 4 busts trades there best prospect who ironically was traded to the team above them. The Rage just blew up this offseason and got alot of picks and prospects but same as the Stars and Dragons the prospects are only S13 and 14 posted before all the trades. They need to look to the future and as far as this list goes they aren't in the greatest shape ever. System Grade F
