Great deal for the Bruins. They get two 2nd rounders and a conditional 3rd for a player they had to move (with only one year left on his deal as well) to get under the cap. This will add another couple of NHLers to the B's.
An overpayment by the Isles, but they are going all in since they don't have a first this year. The Leddy deal was much better for the Isles, only losing an expendable d-propect, a fringe bottom-pairing d-man, and a future (best case scenario) backup goalie. |
