Yeah both expansion teams were in a very odd position, so grading them just on entry draft results doesn't paint even half the picture. You guys definitely seem pretty promising with the moves you've made so far.

Aside from doing well with our selections, I feel that moving down only a few spots down, still getting Stanley, AND gaining a 2nd for next draft (which we did not have) was incredibly shrewd by Brandon.

Wait, what? You should be willing to potentially throw away your only solid pick for a risky move because they may be slightly better than the more established guy?

I can understand a C because the picks didn't blow anyone away and there were no steals there, but a C- is almost punishment for having hardly any picks that could amount to anything.

Okay, I was a little confused at that determination since I would be more open to taking risks if I had a wealth of picks and already had a lot of talent as is.

DJ Stanley could pan out compared to Vilhjalmsson, but despite the low post count Dek still keeps himself active and has a lot of money to utilize in case he doesn't feel like doing media anymore.

Should be interesting to see how he does compared to "underdog" Stanley and Durden.

Yeah I knew where I wanted to put you guys, but had nothing to say, which left me in a weird spot.

I'm very interested to see how Stanley turns out as well. I love his story as an undrafted SMJHL free agent.
