One thing that has been a tendency this year, all juniors can train and do PT's before they even get drafted.

If you want to make it slower, make sure they can only start doing stuff AFTER the draft.

Yeah that's something that needs to stop.

Which in return, also give the juniors who joined the site on the last day for the draft an equal chance on a good/active rookie season.

exactly that

this is just the experienced players trying to protect their status and do nothing at the same time

if you wanna keep your status you need to work for it imo

Go look at my player page and tell me i dont work for it lol im 8 pages of updates   im not trying to protect shit lol

The problem is that the way this discussion goes, it it pretty much destined to become a "Older Players trying to protect their status vs. Young Players who want to become stars as quickly and easy as possible"-discussion, even though this might not be the intention of both sides :(...

I'm probably pretty much in the middle of the pack so I think/hope I can see both sides of the problem. And one problem I see at my own players is that, even though we have an Update Scale, I came close to maxing out way to soon. And with the ways TPE are handed out at the moment it will go even faster for the players that are Juniors now, and that can't be good for the league.

exactly the updates scale was made so 99 was hard to get now im looking at guys all 99 in everything.

And Corocan i have no idea whats going on with goalies tbh lol personally i think its because teams now have 3 lines of players with all 99s skills. Which is another issue i have with this and why im saying something like this should happen. Im not trying to protect shit ive been one of the hardest working members on my player since i joined.

I think we should have a limit for skaters on how many skills they can have at 99. I can't think of one player in the NHL who is an elite level hitter and scorer

And to add on this ya I think going back to the builds that had limits I think would help balance the league alot better and make people think about how they want to build

It's the Uncapped PTs. That is literally pretty much the only thing causing this problem. The Juniors DO have TPE Caps for both training and PTs, but EVERY SINGLE PT we do has bonus uncapped points given out that everyone gets, or the entire PT is uncapped.

Pretty much that.

We could also keep the TPE for Graphics but have them count against the PT-Cap or something...

The reason I suggested the values I did for the update scale was because of how many points you could usually earn. Since the update scalr has been introduced, the number of points available had increased dramatically, rendering the scale pointless. Normally in STHS, very few people have skills over 90. We have an abundance of players with 99 in a lot of skills, something we were trying to avoid. Honestly, I'd propose another update scale, which makes getting elite skills cost a lot.

70-75: 2 points
75-80: 3 points
80-85: 4 points
85-90: 5 points
90-95: 7 points
95-99: 10 points

No more perfect players. To get a skill to 90, it takes 90 points, but to get to 99, it takes 165. If you want to be really elite at something, you have to pay for it. More variation in players, and the update scale actually does its job.

1) I like the way my player is progressing, I'm still not that great, but I can compete. That's how it should be.

2) To the guys saying that Weekly Graphics should be done using money. That would only make money less valuable. Which would screw over the cap even more

I think the idea of making it worth money rather than points, is that way they can only use it for their +5 every week, as opposed to getting their +5 and then a +4 from graphics. So while they will be getting more money, it still limits how fast they can improve.

Although this is true. We are creating a bigger salary cap problem if we do that. Any guys that can kind of do graphics will then get 500k for there career
